The food is awesome. The oxtails and the curry goat were 100% on point as were the cabbage and plantains. The only thing it didn't have was the roti bread the time I went there which would've made the meal perfect. Next time they have the roti bread I'll up my food from 4 ro 5 stars to give this great little spot in Boonton 5 stars across the board. For those of you expecting a lot of meat in your plate for the price, this is not that spot. Everything else will meet your expectations.

Great Jamaica restaurant in Boonton that adds an extra vibe in the area. The decor is authentic, you are met with reggae music playing in the background for that true Jamaican experience. Great for dine in. Very accessible and the owners are friendly. Highly recommend.

After moving from NYC I really really miss all my food options and Eric’s soothed my soul with this Jamaican food!! TY ❤️
Went to try based on good reviews. Super disappointed to say the least. Foods are all premade and not hot. The large size platters are mainly rice & bones plus few pieces of potatoes & plantains, at best only 5% of the meal is meat. Empanadas has indistinguishable mushy meat filling, frozen store bought empanadas tastes better.

We have been meaning to try this place for a while, and final had the chance recently. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, despite my lame attempt at ordering food I am not familiar with, and the food was delicious.
We tried the jerk chicken, oxtail, and beef paties and everything was great!

I ordered on Uber Eats. Wow, the food portions are generous and great for the price! The liver was super tasty. The ackee was good, but just a bit fresh. The fried dumplings were cooked to perfection. I don't enjoy boiled food, so I would've liked the option to have just fried dumplings alone, but overall, it was good for someone who doesn't like boiled food.

Exactly the way real Jamaican food should be. Mom and pop run, lots of food on the small plate... Too much for me even when hungry.

The best plantains I've ever had! Side dishes were delightful. Jerk chicken and oxtail were huge portions for the price and we got multiple meals out of each.

Pretty bad food. Just picked up: jerk chicken, jerk pork and oxtail.
Chicken has bunch of tiny bones and almost choked on it. He used axe to cut the chicken and tiny pieces of bones are everywhere. Impossible to eat
Plantains are dry and tasteless.
Good has no sauce
Pork was cold and rough
Oxtail is average
Bad food overall
