Always a solid choice for great pizza and Italian food! The dining room can be loud and lively, especially on busier evenings, but the experience is well worth it.
Delicious food and cute space. We almost left because it was so loud we couldn't even hear each other talking. Maybe because a Saturday night? Service was slow too. But, would give another try because of the space and the food.
It's been a long time since we've been at Matta Donna. We will back soon. Loved the food, service and ambiance.
First time at Matta Donna. Very good food. Parking is a bit tricky, small lot, parked across the street at liquor store (that has signs all will be towed). Wait staff seemed a bit busy, possibly short staffed, but very friendly. Will definitely come back.
Very friendly restaurant. Enjoyed a nice meal with our in-laws. There was no rush and everything tasted great. A fair amount of parking and enough room between tables for privacy.
Great service. Worst chicken Marsala I’ve ever had hands down takes the cake. Boiled chicken in a soup suspended by green shlt with overcooked pasta. Expensive too

The waitress was friendly, the food was not that great, bruschetta was missing balsamic glaze, the red snapper the tomato sauce was too strong for the fish, the franchise sauce did not have taste at all.
What a disappointment. None of my food was prepared as requested. Asked for salad dressing on the side, but it was on the salad. Ordered a filet medium and it was so over cooked, it was like shoe leather. It wasn't cheap, so I sent it back. The replacement steak was so raw, it was purple inside and dripping blood onto the plate. Gave up on a filet and ordered salmon instead. Was shown on menu as being accompanied by rice pilaf, which was just a lame pile of white rice. The server was nice, but MIA each time we needed something, which made the experience that much worse. A guy who I guess was the owner came over as we were leaving and acknowledged that my meal/experience was terrible and only said, "Mea Culpa." Considering that I went to dinner with friends, but ended up eating my meal long after they were finished with their meals because my meal had to be sent back and recooked twice, he should have given some sort of credit on our bill, but he didn't. Parking is terrible too. Definitely will not return.
Good food, but the woman server has a big attitude and ignored our table when we dined there on Friday. Need to be more grateful you have a job then getting annoyed at your customers. Needless to say, the tip was not as much as we usually leave.

The shrimp farfalle was one of the top 10 best meals I’ve had in my life. The sauce should be jarred and sold! Will, our waiter was a gem. Thank you for a great night!

Great spot for dinner, just off the highway. The bar is also a great area to catch a game and have drink. The family that runs runs the place is welcoming and gives it a special atmosphere that can’t be beaten by a chain restaurant.
My partner and I came here to celebrate our anniversary. Based off of all the raving reviews we were so excited! The waitress was super nice and the atmosphere was great. However, we were a little disappointed with dinner. For the appetizers we had the bruschetta and fried mozzarella wedges. The Bruschetta was nothing special. The fried mozzarella wedges were a bit too greasy for my partners and I’s liking. Our entrees, my partner got the Baked Penne and I got their skirt steak special. The penne was flavorful but the sauce was a bit too watery for our liking. My steak was great and made to order but the sauce for me was over powering with the wine taste. For dessert we got a cheesecake and carrot cake. The cheesecake was great except there was a bit too much sour cream for my liking. My partner got the carrot cake and was disappointed since it was hard as a rock. We spent with tip between $120-$150. Regardless of the dinner the service was top notch.

Excellent food. Specials were all unique and fantastic. Attentive wait staff and atmosphere. Teriyaki calamari was a strike of brilliance! Good wines and atmosphere for a cozy Italian night out.
