Stopped by for the first time. Was greeted by the staff. All were friendly, got the meatball hero special, which was great and got the classic Italian combo. That was a good solid sandwich. Will be back when in the area again.

I usually stop in a few times per year for the Taylor ham egg sandwich. The sandwich is very good since I tell them to not overcook the ham and a soft egg. The salads in the display are not attractive since the salads are swimming in the mayonnaise. I am not sure who is making the salads but they would look better with much less mayonnaise.

Old Towne is one of those hole in the wall places you could easily drive by every day and miss (which I did for years). I found it by looking on Google Maps for good places to eat and I'm just sorry I didn't find it sooner. Let me start by saying the cheesesteak is a work of art. The taylor ham, egg, and cheese gets a ton of love here, which it deserves because it may very well be the best in NJ, but the cheesesteak is my favorite. Everything in it is great from the tender thin slices of steak, to the marinated peppers and onions, to the cheese that is mixed in perfectly, to the soft bread that soaks in all the flavors of the ingredients. I get the large size for lunch and save half for later. To top it off, the staff here is extremely nice and great to talk with. If you're ever in the area come get a cheesesteak (or a THE&C). Remember to bring cash as it is a cash only place (well worth it, everything is reasonably priced).

I can't receommend Olde Towne enough! The food is great - everything is fresh and delicious, The people running it are just awesome human beings - friendly without being overwhelming, the kind of place where you visit for the first time and feel completely welcome and you are already thinking about your next visit before you've even left.
I am born and rasied NJ - my one true comfort food is Taylor Ham egg and cheese on a hard roll (SPK!) and Olde Towne's is the best! There is a shop MUCH closer to my home but you can taste they never clean the grill - I drive past them right to Olde Towne because why would you settle for anything less when the best is just a little further down the road!?
Cash only, but they have an ATM inside and there is a bank down the street that is a really quick walk ... so, no problem! There is parking behind the deli and along the streets. If you are in the area, you owe yourself a trip to Olde Towne!
Parking: There are a few spots in a small free lot behind the deli, but Boonton is a great little town with free on-street parking - a lot of businesses and shops in the downtown - plenty to see and do while you enjoy your food from Olde Towne!
