Great place, wish my town had a place like Ombra. Good wines and good, impressive. Only negative would be the prices are high for the quantity of food you get. The quality is great, but the quantity is small.

Parking: It's usually not difficult to find parking within a 2 minute walk of your destination in downtown Boonton

Good drinks. Awful setup. Food and service worse than mid.

Had some small plates and drinks. Drinks are decent, but service was extremely slow and not paced properly. I didnt get my first drink until the food came out. Burrata was not fresh, had to forcibly cut through it. never had that experience before.

Was seated in the downstairs, which seems was designed around torturing patrons. Music loud in a cramped space with no acoustic panels, led to just massive reverb and noise and pain. The whole floor was just way way louder than it actualyl needed to be. The slow service of drinks could not dull the auditory nightmare. The tables are too high for how low the seats are. The tables are too small for the concept of the restaurant. The bench against the wall had such an off proportion that i had actual back pain the next day. It seems like someone just got random furniture to put together without actually measuring anything.

I really have a high tolerance for issues when going out. It has to go out of its way to make me write a review. its freakin amateur hour ova heeyuh.

Ombra is hands down one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time! From the moment we walked in, the cozy, inviting atmosphere set the perfect tone for the evening. The ambiance is chic yet comfortable, making it ideal for both a casual night out or a more intimate dinner.

Now onto the food—absolutely phenomenal! We started with the Grande Tagliare, a charcuterie board packed with a stunning array of imported meats and cheeses. The prosciutto was melt-in-your-mouth perfect, and each cheese was paired with delightful accompaniments like house-made crostini and fig jam. This alone was worth the visit!

But it didn’t stop there. The Truffle Burrata was an absolute dream—creamy, indulgent, and paired with just the right touch of truffle to elevate the dish. Next, we indulged in some of the best crostini I’ve ever had. The Blueberry and Brie Crostini was a delightful blend of sweet and savory, while the **Italian Sub Crostini** took a classic sandwich concept and transformed it into a gourmet bite.

And as if the food wasn’t already top-notch, the service was just as impressive. Our waiter, Carlos, was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, providing perfect recommendations and making us feel well taken care of throughout the night. His attentiveness and expertise truly enhanced the experience.

All in all, Ombra offers a perfect trifecta of incredible food, a warm and inviting atmosphere, and impeccable service. Whether you're a fan of charcuterie, tapas, or craft cocktails, this place is an absolute must-visit!

Had a wonderful birthday date night. Wonderful small plates and cocktails. They even ended the meal with a little surprise for my husband’s birthday! Second time here and will be back again.

such a find in boonton. Every service worker is kind, attentive, and personalizes your experience. More upscale than most spots in town but worth it - excellent bartenders and yummy food. They also have mocktail options. Great for date night or girls night out. Ask for Carlos as your server!!!! Hes the best ?

This is a great cocktail bar that serves delicious drinks and charcuterie. If you’re looking to eat dinner here I would recommend otherwise. Prices are a bit high for the serving sizes you get, but price does reflect in the quality of food received! I have come here before for an aperitivo before going elsewhere for dinner. Seating in both the upper and lower level, but I prefer the lower.
