A hidden gem in the up-and-coming Boonton downtown area. The best place for drinks after work, a date, girls night out, you name it. The bartenders are so sweet and want to make sure you have the best experience. Will keep coming back as long as it’s open.

Ombra is a great spot for cocktails and small meals but the service is on the slower side. Very good drinks but takes about 10 mins to make a drink for 2 people. Anymore than 4 ppl to wait in the drinks could be 25-30 min. The last time I was here there different bartenders, and they were very friendly/attentive/social. Had an issue when I arrived with my gf Saturday at 9:45 pm closes at (12am) there were 2 bartends on staff with only 2 customers in the whole restaurant. We got menus and waters quickly. The one bartender behind the bar took off her apron and wouldn’t look at us. The other bartender who gave us the menus never came back to take our order. After waiting 15 minutes of waiting patiently with no communication or eye contact from the employees we departed. On the way out, we saw the bartender that gave us our menu hiding on the stairs on his phone. And that’s when I disappointed. I get that it was slow and they probably wanted to close early but they could’ve just told us they closing early. I would’ve been completely fine with that. But ignoring customers for 20 minutes while we were the only people in there. The water they gave us was the best drink I got from there that night. I’ll be back but just not with those bartenders working

Absolutely loved this place! My boyfriend and I travel looking for great artisan cocktails. We’ve found great places in Miami, Sarasota and Charleston. Now excited to find delicious and beautifully crafted cocktails near home. thanks to Donovan and crew at Ombré for a great experience!

Super accommodating to special requests and dietary issues. I asked for blue cheese stuffed olives in my dirty martini and they stuffed olives with their premium gorganzola. I could tell they were house made. The cucumber soup is cravable, made even better with a warm roll dipped in premium Italian olive oil. The rest of the table enjoyed their charcuterie, too.

A quick visit after a trip to Manhattan and this place did not disappoint! Great food (the kiwi/strawberry salad was amazing) and impeccable service. Quality wine flight and amazing cocktails. What a gem!
