Great place to get food from. Everything I have had has been fantastic, from the Toasties to the pizza to the pasta. You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu, and the prices are fair. It does get full fast, so expect a wait on busy nights, or order takeout.

Absolute hidden gem. This family run Italian establishment has been in operation since 1936, and it does not disappoint. Great for family, dates, groups and business lunches & dinners as well. Fully stocked bar to eat at and watch sports. Try to come early because there is always a wait if you come after 5pm. They also take reservations which I highly recommend. Friends took us here for our first visit and we will definitely be returning. We all shared a large Pizza pie, half plain and half sausage well done. Dry rub chicken wings with a variety of dipping sauces to choose from. We also shared the fried clam strips that were not greasy at all. Check it out! This is my food for the soul go-to for Jersey's best pizza (we get a little well done), and a place that kind of feels like a restaurant version of going home to see the family when you're homesick. Its a bit of a drive to get here for us, and even though it's always crowded (because its so good), I relax, I have a great meal, and I leave happy. Terri, the hostess, goes out of her way to make you feel welcome and I can tell from the amount of people who call her by name or give her hugs, she makes a lot of people feel this way. That's pretty special. The owner is always there, the staff likely has been working there for years to also add to the authentic charm. Plus its been around for nearly 80 years! This place is a Jersey gem and I am so grateful it exists! Grazie!!

I stopped for dinner last Friday and the week before the owner, Melissa, who was very kind and compassionate in her response to an incident that occurred the Friday before, when a customer made inappropriate comments while I waited for a seat at the restaurant. Last Friday the owner Nick was also very considerate, kind, and apologetic, and was nice enough to check to see if my dinner was good and my time at his restaurant. I had the shrimp francaise again, without the cream, and the entree was simply delicious, perfectly cooked and temperature hot. I must make a better decision as to where i sit at the bar. The man next to be had been drinking for many hours, was vulgar with his friend, and his breath was permeating across the bar. Otherwise, the food was delicious and the service was outstanding, again.

This place never disappoints! We've been coming here forever, and the food is always great.
We came here on a Thursday night and it was super busy, but we got lucky and found 2 seats at the bar. All the staff were so friendly and very attentive they made the experience so enjoyable. The food was delicious. I definitely recommend! We will be back!

The chicken parmigiana I had for lunch the other day was as great as any that I’ve ever had there over the course of the last 30 years.
The Bolognese sauce is arguably THE BEST in NJ that I’m aware of. There is a reason that they’re ALWAYS crowded; the food is worth the wait.
