This past Saturday, my family and I had the delightful opportunity to participate in a tea ceremony hosted by Feng Xiao. It was truly an enriching experience that taught us a great deal about the art and tradition of tea. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and Feng Xiao's passion for tea was evident in every aspect of the ceremony. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

It was an incredible experience that we would 10/10 recommend to anyone that enjoys or is passionate about good tea. The bubble tea was also incredible, and I don’t usually like bubble tea. The owner was incredibly kind, deeply knowledgeable, and passionate about both the practice and the exquisite teas she offered. Her expertise made the experience even more enriching. If you’re unfamiliar with traditional Chinese teas, I highly recommend booking a tea ceremony not only to enjoy exceptional tea but also to gain a deeper appreciation for Chinese culture and its rich tea traditions.
This was such a meaningful way to celebrate my birthday, and I couldn’t leave without bringing home some tea and beautiful teacups to continue the experience at home. 🫖 I’ll definitely be returning, and I can confidently say it was well worth the trip from New York City!

I first visited Sinofilia after looking for tea shops in my area. Feng Xiao's shop sounded exactly what I was hoping for and I was not disappointed. I have since been back many times to shop or to share a pot of tea with friends. I have been twice with my daughters to Feng Xiao's tea ceremony and they cannot wait to go back when they are in the area.
Feng Xiao is friendly and helpful. Her knowledge of teas is extensive and she is very happy to share that information. I highly recommend a visit to her shop!

Superb little tea shop! There are no other tea shops like it in the area. Family member found this tea shop online and brought me when I was able to come to visit. Definitely lived up to the excitement. I live several states away and it is still my favorite tea shop to go to. Feng Xiao (the owner) is incredibly knowledgeable about a wide array of teas. Her teas come directly from China, are priced fairly and (to the best of my limited tea knowledge) very good quality. I always stock up on my favorite teas when I visit. She is very sweet and a pleasure to speak to. Truly a hidden gem. Make sure to stop by, you won't regret it!
