today, i have visited this restaurant, if it can be called that. the problems start with the name, this is a sad attempt at mediterranean food. Decide if you are an uzbek restaurant or a turkish one. When we came in, we were met by two indifferent women who were our servers. They caused us to wait for 30 minutes without almost anything for jasmine tea. in the end, we were given the wrong tea because the owner of the restaurant is not smart enough in order to know what they were ordering. we waited for almost 30 minutes for the main courses. here comes the third problem, the food quality, the plov was fine, the lagman was absolutely disappointing because of the non matching noodles and the tasteless broth. we were also given a skewer kebab for 21 dollars, for 3 miniscule pieces of burnt meat. When it came for the check, we were given a gratitude fee which we absolutely not want to pay to this unsanitary, and poor restaurant. don’t go here, it is a scam and a waste of time.

Wow! Honestly did not know what to expect but this was an incredible meal! The dumpings and eggplant to start is amazing! The signature dishes you can't go wrong with any of them!

Food 5 stars. Outstanding. We had mint tea, hummus (delicious pita bread), samsa, bokhara plov, and a very flavorful shrimp dish. Service pleasant. My melt off the bone lamb took a while to cook as expected so we were here a while, but food was well worth the wait. Ambiance. Well, not so much, but we were here for the cuisine and were not disappointed.

The hostess had zero interest in welcoming us in, getting us a menu, or even water to get started with. Waited a good 20 mins with absolutely no attention.

Exciting to have found dining within a native culture of my own, as I have reviewed other interesting reviews of this restaurant, unfortunately, I strongly disagree - the food was not aligned with the taste I know and grew up with of this amazing culture. The lamb kebab was not properly seasoned, tasted bland, and meat was not tender. I didn't enjoy chewing as the taste was depressing. Even basic mash potato was not fresh and tasted weak, definitely was not fresh as well, perhaps felt as if it was made week ago and was left in fridgerator, had no special sauce, very plain, bit dry, would not recommend. I was with other individuals, and they had felt the same. Sadly, the music also didn't represent the optimistic ambiance of the culture, was very dreary, typically Uzbek music is upbeat and combination of drums is entertaining. The low lighting ambiance made us sleepy. On the flip side, the lagmon soup was what had been the tastiest, but unfortunately, not enough to be able to come back, overall the food was just very disappointing. The original Uzbek taste palate was not represented by this establishment. The waiter was friendly and tried her best, which was much appreciated. I would recommend Samarkand, in Woodhaven, Queens, NY, to taste true Uzbek culture food or Tandori, in Rego Park, Queens as well. Both great restaurants will truly make you come back multiple times, if not always! The food really made me have a stomachache. The chicken plov was stale and wasn't very fresh, not a hint of cumin seasoning, even which is a primary seasoning ingredient of this cuisine. In all honesty, it is best recommended for the chef to really attain further Uzbek cooking experience.Parking: Parking space available.

I was so glad when Uzbekistana moved to their new location because we could never find parking at the old one. Now they have a parking lot and large dining room finished with traditional furnishings. This restaurant is family-owned and family-run and after a few visits you will feel like a member of the family. We dine here at least once a week and recommend EVERYTHING on the menu! Start with the Mediterranean Delight for an appetizer, Chuchvera soup (mini lamb dumplings in broth) and the Bokhara Plov (lamb shank which falls off the bone and melts in your mouth) or the Dimlama Til (veal tongue - don't knock it until you've tried it!) or the perfectly seasoned and prepared kebabs for your meal. If you have any room left, finish with the baklava and a pot of Jasmine Tea. The service is friendly and top notch. The owners are on-site cooking and greeting their customers and always ready to answer any questions you may have. Give this place a try...I can personally guarantee that you won't be disappointed!Parking: On-premises free parking (approximately 15 - 20 spaces) as well as on-street parking.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs, so easy access for walkers and wheelchairs.

We came 1 hour away and the business is closed, but it says on the page that it is open at 2 pm. This is a place that is not serious. I do not recommend it.

Such phenomenal food! So fresh and delicious. The owner/family are SO NICE. This is a relaxed experience, get takeout if you're in a rush. BYO. Out of town friends always beg that we go here when they are visiting. My kids love the food, too. A must try!!

Very calm and peaceful restaurant, nice ambiance, courteous staff. The Chicken Noqrai to me seemed like an Uzbek butter chicken (delicious), the Bolanee seemed like an empanada or samosa, Badamjan was delicious (eggplant with cheese), the soups (Borscht and Shorpa) were delicious. This place looked like BYOB. Its an ideal spot to take your partner and enjoy a nice quiet evening with wonderful food. It hit me yesterday, since India was ruled by Turks and Central Asians for a few hundred years, they may be lots of similarities between the foods?
