Always a 10/10 for us but yesterday got a 20/10! They were closed and the owner stayed over for a family member who was running late. She did not have to do that but we so appreciate that. Also the best hush puppies we have ever had 😋. We love supporting local🙌

Absolutely phenomenal hoagies, very possibly the best Italian hoagie I have EVER had, and I’ve had them from hundreds of places from New York to South Carolina, it’s my favorite food lol. Their Deli selection is top tier! They have cheeses I’ve never even heard of before, lol they all looked so good!They have Walnut Creek pepperoni cheese for $5 a pound!!!!! What a STEAL! This may very well be my new favorite place, I was beyond impressed with everything I experienced visiting...read full review

Route 28 Deli is a typical NJ diner with a lot of great choices on the menu. The French toast was good, and the Monte Cristo sandwich was excellent. Other highlights include a huge and delicious tuna melt, wonderful disco fries, and fantastic coffee. The family-owned business offers homemade food, with fluffy pancakes like chocolate chip and apple preserves. The sweet waitstaff, welcoming atmosphere, and excellent food make it a must-stop place for visitors.
