Always a 10/10 for us but yesterday got a 20/10! They were closed and the owner stayed over for a family member who was running late. She did not have to do that but we so appreciate that. Also the best hush puppies we have ever had š. We love supporting localš
The owner is absolutely the sweetest. The customer service is the best around!
Absolutely phenomenal hoagies, very possibly the best Italian hoagie I have EVER had, and Iāve had them from hundreds of places from New York to South Carolina, itās my favorite food lol. Their Deli selection is top tier! They have cheeses Iāve never even heard of before, lol they all looked so good! They have Walnut Creek pepperoni cheese for $5 a pound!!!!! What a STEAL! This may very well be my new favorite place, I was beyond impressed with everything I experienced visiting today. Donāt you guys change a thing! Youāre absolutely killing it! 11/10 experience. Edit: Itās also worth mentioning that the people who work here are friendly as can be, and donāt mind answering questions about things! Also, the store is extremely clean and nice! Iām so glad I decided to stop I canāt wait to come back!
First time there was today and I was really impressed with the quality and service!
A typical NJ diner with lots of great choices on the menu. The French toast was good, pretty standard. There were lots of great sandwich choices and lots of ways to customize. The Monte Cristo was excellent and the tuna melt was huge and delicious. The onion rings were good, but the disco fries were wonderful - fries with gravy and cheese - kind of like a poutine. The waitstaff was nice and the service was good. The portions were great and the prices were good.
My husband I just got their steak subs and large order of curly fries. After we split the large curly fry on the way home we was so full we was only able to eat a quarter of our subs. We could of split a sub the portions were so big. Both the sub and curly fries were really good and we will be getting them again.
We love this place! This is our go to restaurant, I say restaurant because this is not typical diner food. It's a family owned business and everything is homemade. The coffee is fantastic, even the decaf! My husband and I just went for breakfast the other day and had the fluffiest pancakes; I had the chocolate chip and he had the apple preserves. Both were yummy! There's so many delicious choices, sometimes its hard to decide. I won't even get into the desserts, but, they're outrageous!
Found this little jewel, Super sweet waitress been there 27 years. Food was really good. Excellent coffee. Love the atmosphere. And they really liked my southern accent. Definitely would stop by here if Iām ever in town again.
Don't get fooled by the outside; is very friendly and warm on the outside; staff was very hospitable. Met one of the owners who told the history of the place; glad to see that it is owned by two families. Does not have a :chain: feeling and it makes you feel like you are part of famiy. I had some pancakes and sausage and my father had some omelette. All in all a tasty meal and would definitely come back here when I visit my dad.
The owner āRGā works extremely hard to ensure the quality of the food and service is consistently good. Itās a very welcoming family restaurant that carries some authentic Costa Rica breakfast dishs such Gallo Pinto, and Huevos Rancheros which keeps me coming back. If you want to try some delicious Greek dishās, like Pastitsio, and Moussaka, ask to be put on the list and they will actually call you when itās on the menu so can reserve some. I could go on and on itās my favorite dinner, but go and try for yourself and become part of a new family with great home cooked food.

Located on the corner on Route 28, ( W Union Avenue ), diner offers simple meals and specials in a cozy environment; food is good, service is friendly and prices are moderate. Parking is on street or in small lot in the back.
