Place is legit. Probably one of the best Thai restaurants in ALL of jersey. Chef is a softy, dont let his his size and deep voice fool you! 🤣

I don't often write reviews unless I'm absolutely compelled to, and after last night's dinner at Bamboo Leaf, eating my leftover Pad Thai at lunch today, I had to write one.

Walking in we were warmly greeted by the host who offered to open our wine (BYOB place) to enjoy while we sat in the bustling waiting area for our table. We were told 30 minute wait, but waited about 20.

We had Chicken Pad Thai, Pork Panang Curry, Vegetable Basil Fried Rice for dinner & Sticky Mango Rice for dessert. All I can say is that this was the best Thai food I have had in my entire life & I have eaten at a lot of places.

The service was exceptional from start to finish. Our server was attentive without ever making us feel rushed, allowing us to spend a considerable amount of time savoring the remarkably fresh and rich flavors of the food.

Food, excellent- Vibe, casual & fun- Value, great still have leftovers-

Will I be going back to Bamboo Leaf? Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. (I live 1 hour 20 minutes away)

I am so glad I listened to my girlfriend who made this recommendation.

It’s hard to find a place that truly consistently delivers outstanding quality food, whether you dine in or take out! Bamboo Leaf is our go to for take out and it never, ever disappoints. It is truly that good! I highly recommend the panang curry with shrimp.

We came on a Sunday night, the place was pretty well attended with only a handful of tables left open.

We started with the Som Tum, which tasted as the farthest thing from what the dish should taste like. It was incredibly salty, but not just from fish sauce, like salt. There was no hint of lime and was highly disappointing. We were concerned this would be the same for the rest of the menu but it wasn't.

The green curry was nice, soupy, but nice. What was remarkable about it was the sheer amount of ingredients in the curry. It was full of vegetables and protein.

The other dish we got was the basil stir fry, it was very greasy and left a burnt grease aftertaste.

Either it’s real crowded with a long wait, or it’s closed and like many mentioned, randomly. No voicemail or message when calling so don’t know if it’s open or not, luckily only a short drive. The food is good though that’s why the 4 stars but lose a star for never knowing if they are open or not.

I can not say enough about this establishment. The staff was great. The place is adorable. The food 10/10. Best Thai soup I have ever had. Our entrée’s were incredible. This place will have you thinking about it days after you leave. We will absolutely be back!
