We were visiting the Jersey shore from Texas and this place was rated as over 4.3, so we gave them a chance. It seemed like a good, authentic spot. We were offered chips and guacamole after placing our order. Our order arrived and it wasn't anything special.
We were the only patrons in the restaurant and suddenly overheard the owner talking to an exterminator about all the large rat problems they have had in Spanish, which we understood. She was laughing about how one fell in the Rice!! Really?!!? My wife almost threw up on the spot! We promptly put our utensils down!
I went to pay and was also hit with the chips/guacamole appetizer was $18!!...more than the taco and fish plate we ordered!
Beware of this place, seriously. Who laughs about their Rat Problems, especially while customers are eating?

Food here tastes authentic and was delicious. Service was very friendly but not necessarily professional. The spot was weirdly empty when my friends and I ate here, but seems like it’s just a family run place that is not very busy on certain days. Highly recommend the burrito and all tacos.

I ask for pollo asado. Not tacos de pollo asado. Maybe because the other two people I was with asked for tacos, they said tacos and I didn’t. I don’t like tacos and I didn’t have time to wait until they made the rice with pollo asado.
