Luna Verde Vegan Mexican Restaurant

Their maduros and enchiladas were to-die-for! I got the red sauce enchiladas with tofu filling. The beans and rice had a slightly smoky flavor that I think came from the chipotle chile, and it wasn’t my favorite, but I would order from here again.

Just had the Birra quesadilla. Amazing I’ll take 14 more of those please! Amazing food so happy right now

Birria tacos, nachos, guac, churros. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu, actually. They switch it up with specials and I've never had a bad meal or bad experience, period. Their West Indian/Caribbean specials are perfection.

Consistently amazing. Owners are so darn talented, creative, engaging, and friendly. I always leave feeling better than I did walking in. I keep telling them I'll wash the dishes for free just to hang out and soak up the vibes but they haven't taken me up on that yet 😂

Birria tacos are especially good, whether you're a vegan or not. If you're a human being with taste buds, do yourself a favor and order.

Awesome vegan food and desserts. I have to make a trip over here every time I’m in the area to grab some tres leches cake minimum.

Food is okay, but the prices are laughable. I am from Arizona where a Mexican food place would have zero customers if it cost this much. Sure, vegan food costs more but not three times as much.

I ordered the encremadas with asada de res based on happy cow photos. It looked so good. Picked it up and unfortunately did not enjoy it. The rice and beans were good but the flavor in the encremadas (not sure if it was the meat, queso, or crema) was off. It was like sweet yet bitter. The meat was also a little too thick and chunky for my liking. I would give them another try and order something different because the menu is extensive and everything looks great.

My family is vegan, and my husband and I can't have gluten. Everytime we go to the beach, we have to google nearby places to eat. This place has no indoor seating so just be sure to order in advance and make plans to eat at a different location.

Unbelievably incredible Mexican cuisine!!! Fulfilled also my cravings. Ever since living in Mexico, it has been impossible to find a top quality restaurant that does Mexican food the way it’s meant to be prepared. This restaurant blew us out of the water. With their presentation, portions, flavors, sauces, everything was top notch!! Totally confused by the bad reviews because the service was great and the change in hours/dine-in service is understandable considering the family is trying to put their family first while continuing to serve their community the best Mexican food this side of the Mexican border. I would go here every week, if I lived closer. Completely satisfied and grateful for such wonderful food!!!

I had the Tacos de Birria | No Chivo. One of the best LatinX food that I've had the pleasure to eat. Would eat again for the next few weeks if I could. Their ordering system is a little confusing for a first time customer. All orders are online so save yourself a trip and order before you get there to skip the wait. Alittle bit expensive, the food was well worth it. There is also a nice side area to enjoy your meal with the sum and sea air.

I had the horchata drink and it was superb. I also had the birria chorizo tacos and they were delicious. They had some heat so make sure to drink that horchata while you devour those tacos.

We love this place and their food has been consistently delicious every time we've gone. We only went once before they became pickup only but we're happy to keep going back and getting takeout or eating at the picnic tables outside!
