I made reservations for party of six. When we arrived lana was gracious and personable. I never expect great dinning when we go out for dinner. I'm more about atmosphere. Well this place had both. Food was top shelf, the black and white photos on the walls of actors were excellent. We loved it

Just went there for the first time, we've heard from word of mouth what a great small Italian restaurant. We we're blown away, not only by the food but the service. Everything was top notch. I'm sorry we didn't find this place sooner. Great, great time. We will be back!!!!

Mangiare Tu is a hidden gem in Bradley Beach! The food here speaks for itself. Fresh, cooked to order, and amazing. Best Chicken Parmesan I have ever had! I would highly recommend dining here for an authentic Italian meal.

Not only is the food fresh and delicious, the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. I had the aged rib eye steak, It was cooked to perfection, juicy, and tasted amazing. Lana puts out great food and provides a superb dining experience. I highly recommend dining here!

We had dinner on a Friday night. We called to reserve a table, and were informed that same-day reservations would incur a $25 per person charge if canceled. We were okay with that but found it odd, considering the restaurant was only about half full.
It's a BYOB restaurant. The food was okay. We had baked clams and meatballs as appetizers, and for our entrées, we ordered squid ink pasta, veal Milanese, and the special of the day. The squid ink pasta was blend. Friend doesn’t like her special calamari plate and said it was blend. The cheesecake has the fridge odor taste.
As for the service, it was interesting…. We had a few questions about how the pork dish were prepared, but the server clearly didn’t know and gave vague answers, confuse why she refused to confirm with the kitchen and stick with the confusing answers that she gave. Very odd!
The live music was awesome. The singer is really good!

We went 6/30, the place is small but decorated in taste. The owner Lana is a trip, great stories, the waitress Dylan was incredible. Byob, but there is a liquor store around the corner. Apps, eggplant rolatini on special, delicious. They put out real bread, now to the entrees. Wife had Sunday sauce she said it was good, having a itallian wife your never going to hear these meatballs are better than mine, yet good. I had the chicken parm which was delish, came with pasta garlic in oil very good and (my ONLY complaint) was the broccoli rabe, it seemed like it was freezer packed not used to how it was just bunched together not fresh. On a whole great little place and would advise to check it out.

My italian girlfriend and I are good cooks and we love to prepare meals together. Most italian restaurants fall short of our own cooking, that can not be said of Mangiare Tu. The owner, Lana, has a long tradition of cooking food from recipes passed down through generations. We learned this from sharing our love of good food with her and getting to know her. She's a doll, strong personality and always on her game. The food here is consistently good. We recommend this place to friends and they always thank us for directing them her way. Definitely try the Sicilian Pork or the Halibut, both are incredible.

My girlfriend and I had the clams, ceaser, pork chop and sunday sauce. Everything was incredible. They even brought out homemade sun dried tomatoes and chocolate covered strawberries for us to try. The owner was very friendly and made sure we had a good time.

Mangiare Tu is the BEST restaurant at the Jersey Shore! We have been multiple times and Lana never disappoints with the best service and amazing food. Love all the different events she hosts like disco and comedy nights. Can’t wait to go back!

Amazing!!! We have been here several times and have never been let down! Last time we went for a comedy show and it was such a fun night out!! The comedianswere great!! The charred Cesar and artichoke franchise are must have apps! We also have had the meatballs, eggplant parm and many other dishes and one is better than the next! Absolutely the shores hidden gem!
