We went to Skratch Kitchen for the second time last night and had an amazing meal and a wonderful experience. The appetizer with clams, chorizo and beans is one of the best appetizers I have ever had and the portion is very generous. The pork special was delicious and large and my wife loved her bolognese sauce with fresh ricotta. We split a brownie with peanut butter- vanilla ice cream and fluff that was decadent but totally worth it. To make matters even more special, there was an issue where another table accidentally took our leftovers and they treated us so well afterwards that it more than made up for an error that was not their own. The hostess seated us earlier than our reservation which was unnecessary but very appreciated, and our waitress was fun, personable, and knowledgeable. We loved every minute of our time there and look forward to going back.

Hostess was very personable and friendly. She acknowledged our group as celebrating a friends gathering and offered to take our picture. Our waitress always had a smile on her face and was attentive despite having a large service area. The fig appetizer was excellent as were the scallops.

Overall, our group had a great experience. Service was friendly and attentive. We had to wait a few minutes as tables cleared even, but that’s to be expected for a small intimate place. We had a variety of meals in our group of 7 and all seemed happy. The menu offers great variety. The specials menu offered a big variety as well, something I’ve never seen elsewhere. My only 2 points of feedback would be the specials menu should have prices posted, and the small amount of linguini with the chicken parm would maybe not support the $7 add on.

Really! Best meal we've had out in a while!! Great atmosphere. Our waiter, Stevie was 100% helpful and attentive. Delicious Diver scallop entree and my husband's fav, shrimp and grits!!! Meals were 10/10. Then the carrot cake- thought mine was the best ever but this gave me a run for my money!!! Nice hot coffee. Everybody from the young lady who lead us in to Stevie to I think the owner and chef came to check on us! Wonderful experience!! Will do this again soon!

This was my third experience and the first time that was not 5 star. Two of us ordered a scallop special. The meal did not live up to expectations. The scallops were not seared and in fact were served undercooked. Instead of freshly made replacements, these same scallops were returned to the pan and again served. They were still without color and now were rubbery. The artichoke hearts tasted like they were right out of the can. A third meal was a pork special. It came to the table burned to a crisp. The other two meals were from the regular menu and were great.

Great restaurant! Menu was excellent. Delicious clam appetizer and arancini ballls. Polenta special was excellent. Server, Stevie was perfect, attentive, personable and non intrusive. We will definitely return.
