Always a staple! The Biscuit is our go to place! A quick breakfast at the bar, my parents 50th, high school girlfriend’s reunion, meeting clients. Husband ALWAYS get the corned beef hash. I mix it up on what I order but that butter they serve w/ the biscuits is amazing! Sometimes I go in just for the amazing hot cocoa + whipped cream & take in the festive atmosphere.
Highly recommend!

The 2nd time I've been here in years and it's still as good as the 1st time! Will definitely be back!

Stopped here randomly after a walk; admiring a sandwich/fries we saw at someone’s table, we decided it looked great for a late lunch. As we’re finishing our delicious meals, our amazing waitress informs us that they’re closed!!! We had ZERO idea we’d come in like a 1/2hr before closing. They seated us, were gracious hosts, AND still served us easily some of the best food we’ve had around Bradley beach. Eat here, you’ll be glad you did.
ETA: Have a hot chocolate if weather permits ❤️

The dishes we ordered seemed a bit overloaded with too many ingredients, which made the flavors feel some what muddled. I was especially disappointed with the Maui Meg’s French toast; it was essentially a small muffins sliced into three pieces, topped with crushed macadamia nuts and powdered sugar. Overall it was an average meal.

Food was outstanding. Service was a bit slow. Atmosphere is beach oriented. Prices are fair.

I'd eaten at The Buttered Biscuit (approximately) 7 years ago, and enjoyed the meal and service.

I visited this year on a Thursday morning. We sat inside.

The food is definitely different. I ordered an asparagus and provolone omelet. The flavor was okay, but it was very flat and seemed rather thrown together. I can't put my finger on it, but something was just off.

I ordered a hot chocolate and received a milky white concoction that I was assured was, indeed, hot chocolate. I don't know what it was, but it was not hot chocolate. I could not drink more than 2 sips.

My husband had a western omelet that he enjoyed. He also ordered a biscuit (because you just have to... right?) and - I really hate to say it - it's just not a great biscuit. It was accompanied by some sort of infused butter (maple or honey or cinnamon... unsure), and would be a nice topping for a biscuit but it lacked flavor.

We shared a side of pancakes. They were fine, but I didn't eat much of them. I absolutely love pancakes, and these were not impressive.

Our server, Davin, was nice but he seemed a bit harried. He forgot a lot of things (but always came back). I think he may have been one of only two servers on the floor that morning.

I must be honest and say I wasn’t able to go and try the food as I had to stay back at the hotel with the dogs. However, my family is sending me endless pictures with endless praises of the sausage gravy. The portion sizes are spectacular for the price.

My wife has been here a number of times when she stays down the shore for girls weekends. Went there for the first time today with a friend. The food is very good service is excellent and it's a great little atmosphere

The funny thing is for a place called The Buttered Biscuit .... I thought the biscuits were.... Let's just say not good. Everything else I had was absolutely delicious. But I just find it funny that their namesake item was not very good at all.

So my recommendation would be stay away from the biscuits but everything else was delicious!!

Why do they actually have some of the best corned beef I’ve ever had (homemade too!)? My only complaint is now I live far and to drive over an hour to get!

Another delicious time enjoyed at Brandl’s. Several appetizers, great entree, and even saved space for desserts. On Sundays they have the Lazy Lobster 3 course special for $49 pp. it includes an appetizer , entree, and dessert. What a deal!!! Don’t forget, they’re BYOB!!!
