Order a large cheese pizza with extra sausage and got sausage but no cheese and crust was like cardboard. I will not be returning as I gave it multiple chances and this is my last straw.

Unfortunately, I have a negative update to share. A&G Pizza in Branchville used to sell good quality za. Even guests from other states who live in large metropolitan cities have commented that the pizza at A&G (in the middle of a very rural county in NJ) is excellent. But since the pandemic, it's exactly the opposite.Every time my family has eaten there, the pizza has tasted stale. I'm not even sure how that can be. But it very much tastes like pizza which was once fresh, got left in a freezer for far too long, and then got re-heated. That's happened to us in our home of course, but it's not something you expect when eating out at a pizza parlor. The situation reminds me of a running joke with a friend of mine who would always come over in the early days of our owning a home and being new parents, when we often had nothing but weeks old pizza. The quality at A&G is very similar nowadays.I'm not sure if they're using cheaper ingredients (unsure how flour could be THAT cheap to warrant this result) or literally freezing pizzas that didn't sell and cooking them up days or weeks later, but the pies have gone from "very good" to some of the worst pizza I've ever eaten. It's too bad, because the location is charming. We have been regulars since 2016. We want to continue being regulars. But something needs to change. It would be nice to know why the quality has plummeted, if anyone at the restaurant cares to reach out.I noticed another reviewer mentioned new ownership in a September, 2023 review. Perhaps that has something to do with the stark difference.Hoping for the best!

Love this place! Every time I come to town, I have to stop in! The pizza and subs are amazing! Just a great little place!
Eat there every week and it's always excellent. They make a thin crust which I like much more than the thick soft crust a lot of places have.

Was not happy with the Linguini and meatballs. The meatballs were dry and over cooked and the sauce was too thick. It tasted like it had been reheated in the ovens. Also the chicken parm was dry and had to be sent back because it was cold. This is the second time our food was so overcooked.Last time it was the lasagna and the bottom was burned. The service was great and our waitress was terrific it was the food we had a problem with. Will be awhile before we come back.

Decent pizza joint. We usually order the lunch specials for pickup. Orders are usually ready in 15 minutes. The chicken parm with fries is good. The meatballs on the meatball parm are too big for my liking, but my husband enjoys them. The pepperoni Stromboli is tasty but very greasy.

We received a gift card from friends last fall. I ordered a pizza last week from the Andover location and when I tried to use the GC was told they changed their system 6 months ago and could not take it. When I asked about honoring the GC, the owner said I could use it at the Branchville location. I paid cash for the pizza. This week, I ordered 2 pizzas from Branchville and when I tried to use the GC, the poor guy said that it was an Andover GC and they had separate owners. He gave me the pizzas anyway, but shame on Andover for doing that to us both. Will only go to Branchville from now on. Thank you for helping us.
