“We went for lunch mostly because we were in the area and the lakeside location looked good. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food --the calamari was excellent,absolutely fresh and very lightly fried. The pierogies were amazing; we also had a salad and the apple strudel -- both highly recommended. The ales were cool and just what we needed after a hot afternoon of hiking. The place has outdoor seating that overlooks the lake, and the indoor area is spacious and has a glass front. The service was friendly but it is the food that stood out the most. We will be back to try the schnitzels.“
