First time visiting to Gyp's Tavern. Christina greeted us when we arrived and told the story of Gyp & Babe Ruth, who fished and hunted in the area. Nice display in the back room. Great little Tavern to kick back on the patio, overlooking Lake Kittattiny. Today, Smokin' Mo's Southern BBQ was the food truck serving up great pulled pork, chicken and a variety of sizes. Well worth stopping in and look forward to a return visit.

Great view and a great time with friends. Definitely a hidden gem if you are not a local and looking for a get away chill spot. The view is especially beautiful during sunsets.
If your looking for fancy forget this place but if you want a nice relaxed tavern with great burgers, Gyp's is great. We had some great burgers and sat outside with a view of the lake. Great place to spend some time with family or friends.
