If your looking for fancy forget this place but if you want a nice relaxed tavern with great burgers, Gyp's is great. We had some great burgers and sat outside with a view of the lake. Great place to spend some time with family or friends.

The bartender here was really nice! Very friendly people, seems like a lot of regulars. When I walked in everybody was staring at me, lol .
The bartender made a pizza for me even though the kitchen was closed. Plenty of room for me to hang out and charge my cell phone.

Been coming to Gyp’s for ever 20 years. It only gets better. Best burgers and THE BEST Bloody Mary around. I challenge you to find better! The bartender (whose name I can’t remember) is friendly and provides excellent service. Sitting outside by the lake is so relaxing and the other patrons are friendly so the vibe is welcoming. Will continue to come back over and over again.

Great atmosphere the view is amazing. Definitely worth coming by and checking it out. We had a blast here yesterday and it was a wonderful day, especially after a small rain. There is canopies in outside seating area so you don’t have to worry about getting wet when it’s raining.

Food is good but very few options for vegetarian people. So 3 stars. But staff is courteous and prompt. Location is no doubt fantastic. We can sit all day long. When we reached it was thunderstorm and clouds could be seen descended on mountains. Picturesque.

This is an authentic character small town bar. It was particularly a fun positive place for the group of us through hikers to resupply and get food and drink. It's only a short distance off the trail
