Ok, so I LOVE these old diners so much. They take me back to traveling with my parents as a kid and putting nickels in the table side jukebox. This one truly has that feel (unfortunately no jukebox though). Our server was polite, attentive, but not constantly interrupting. I had the chicken fried steak.....Y'ALL it was pounded soooooo thin, the breading was just enough and super crispy. Ever have chicken fried steak that's got chewy parts? Hate that. Not here, OMG so...
A really great meal for any reason. The breakfast options all come in large, filling portions and the taste really comes through. Fair pricing, very friendly waitstaff and regulars.
Breakfast on the weekends is my favorite thing at a diner and if you love that classic Jersey diner nostalgia, then you'll be satisfied here. Fantastic egg dishes, nothing overcooked and the wait staff is friendly and quick to listen for requests and changes. It maybe be small but treat yourself to an authentic diner thar doesn't break the bank, it just does good food.
