It’s a great concept, but I’m not understanding why the crumb cakes don’t automatically have powdered sugar on the crumb section. I appreciate that they offer gluten-free options. I tried a gluten-free vanilla crumb cake. The cake portion was great, but the crumb section was very dry, and it seemed like it was missing something. Suddenly, I realized it was the powdered sugar. I also don’t understand the way the product is displayed In the store. As another reviewer mentioned, the crumb cakes are all in plastic containers on the counters and tables, and nothing appears to be freshly made. I really have had much better crumb cake from ordinary bakeries. You’re just not getting what you would expect from a place that is specializing in crumb cakes

Came back home for a family reunion last weekend and ordered several crumb cakes for different events. I'm originally a 'Jersey gal' and growing up my family used to have crumb cake often with Sunday morning breakfast. That bakery went out of business. I was hoping Mike's crumb cakes would be good but I wasn't expecting exceptional!!! The cc's were a huge hit at each party! Delicious and the best I've ever had! Nick and Chris couldn't have been more helpful, professional, and great to work with. Thanks guys! Can't wait to get back at Christmas to order more! Oh, and the brownies are excellent too!

I have been wanting to try for a while-went to the store twice and didn’t leave with a cake. First time I didn’t have cash and second time they were closed. I finally got to purchase at the seaside farmers market. I can’t wait to try other flavors and continue to support small business.

This is the second year Mike's and our Manalapan HS did a fundraiser. The cakes are absolutely delicious! Mike and the boys who work there are so nice and accommodating. They helped me load 285 cakes into my car. The cakes are fresh and I will absolutely be purchasing more in the future. if your looking for a an amazing crumb cake--- Mike's is where it's at!!!
