Went late morning Sunday. Checked in at 11:56 and was told it would be a 20 minute wait. Sure enough in 20 minutes we were seated. We kept waiting for a server to come over and no one showed up. After 40 minutes I asked the host what was going on and he seemed surprised no one had waited on us yet. He went and got the waiter who said " oh I didn't see you sitting there." I ordered coffe with milk. He brought 1/2 & 1/2. After waiting 10 minutes for him to reappear I asked for milk. He brought it out and took our order. After dropping off the order he never came back to the table. When he finally showed up when we were done he dropped off the check. Waited another 10 minutes then asked the host to find him so we could leave. Fortunately I have been to 2 other locations which were outstanding but I would never go to this location again EDIT: The review was done on Turning Point of Brick so I'm not sure why the response asked what location I visited

Stopped in after my delivery in Lakewood. This is the only place I found that has vegan pancakes, I haven't eaten pancakes in years since I went vegan, my pancakes were phenomenal as well as the avacado toast and salmon i ordered, even the apple juice i ordered tasted fresh and crisp, the service was great restaurant was extremely clean and inviting I also grabbed me a tumbler for my truck I was in need of one so that was also a plus. This is definitely going to be my go 2 spot anytime I get routed to Lakewood ?
The turning point in brick New Jersey was outstanding. Great food, great environment, and a super accommodating young waiter. I was able to cash in my birthday reward as well. It was delicious.

It would have been nice to be able to leave a real review. We "called ahead" for a party of 9 at 9.30 on a Sunday. when we arrived, they weren't very busy at all, and there were quite a few scattered empty tables. The wait staff they have was unable to figure out how to actually move tables and made us just stand there for about 20 minutes. When we eventually managed to speak with a manager, she was absolutely zero help. we were told that we needed to wait for other parties to leave before they could see us. in addition, we saw three or four parties of three people each come in and be seated while we were standing there. so half an hour after standing there, we wound up calling a different local breakfast place that we've used in the past and was able to immediately accommodate us. Sorry, but well never get to try this place!
Breakfast is not my meal of choice but this incredible CrossFit omelette and power pancake may have converted me. Never have I ever had a more flavorful, veggie packed breakfast! It was super light and fluffy and that pancake has convinced me that dense, doughy pancakes are a thing of the past. Delicious way to start the day!

I don’t usually give reviews but I really hope this feedback will help the restaurant improve. We were super excited to try this place but unfortunately the service was extremely lacking. The food was actually pretty good - although my pancakes, as well as my husbands waffle, were slightly underdone. The dishes don’t look the cleanest as the glasses have some soap scum, and my fork had some type of paper stuck to it. The water tasted slightly weird but that could’ve just been from the murky glass. All things we could’ve looked past had the service been better, because we really aren’t that picky. We saw our waitress a total of two times. The first time was when we were sat and she took our drink order. The second time was when she came back with drinks and took our food order. We never saw her again. Other staff brought out our food, and we never saw anyone again to check if we needed anything. We were waiting for someone to return so that we could order my son a hot chocolate and a side of potatoes but literally never saw our server again. We also had to steal a place setting from the empty table next to us because they didn’t bring a 3rd place setting for our son and we couldn’t wait any longer with his food just sitting in front of him with no silverware. We waited for over 20 minutes after finishing our food for someone to come back and instead we sat there not being helped by anyone as we watched other servers help the tables around us. Finally, we waved down another waitress who tried to find our original waitress to grab our check and a box. She came back and told us she would take the check instead and that our original waitress had been “caught up in the bar”. I’m sorry but that is not a good excuse for not serving your table for their entire time at the restaurant. Very disappointed and probably won’t return because of this.
Don't know what the meaning of toast is also orders are very small three pieces of bacon for $5 I'll never go again
