Stuck in the 70s nostalgia 😋 the best ribs in the state (not including ny) The chicken is fried to perfection. Sort of the south of the north if you will. Mid parking 🅿️ but warm family like atmosphere
Fantastic chicken! I’d say wet batter style. Crispy shell, steamy tender meat. Seasoned well, but not spicy (usually covers up poor technique). Similar in combination of flavor and texture to great SoCal joints like Golden Bird in Ladera Heights (closed) or Honey’s Kettle Fried in Culver City. Delicious! I also had the fried okra… nice chunky bits and well breaded, and the Mac and cheese… classic creamy style rather than baked. Took my extras back to the hotel for breakfast.
