I ordered $80 of food for takeout, once I got home, the food leaked everywhere, soaking the paper bag with oil and sauce, and they stained all over my carpet in the car. Come on, how hard is it to seal all the boxes tightly or double bag them to avoid leaking in the car? I ordered 5 dishes and they included only 2 chopsticks and 2 pieces of napkins, when I specifically asked them "are there chopsticks and napkins" before leaving the restaurant. The guy paused and nodded "yes". Don't be so stingy and be careless about customer service. No matter how good your food tastes, customer experience trumps it all.

If you're looking for authentic Chinese cuisine, I suggest visiting this establishment. Even their Americanized food offerings are quite delicious.

This restaurant serves the only acceptable Chinese food in this area. In normal times, the vast majority of customers look to be Chinese; a good sign! Used to live near Manhattan's Chinatown, and this place feels and tastes like that.

Authentic Chinese food, with some menu items that may be, say, unfamiliar. Don't be intimidated lest you miss out on some great dishes. There's also an American Chinese selection for folks less adventurous.

This is my favorite local Chinese restaurant who serves most authentic Chinese food in the area! Can't remember how many times I've dined or ordered pick-up there.

Really great hunan style food. The numerous things I’ve tried have all been large portions and very good.

This place is my preferable site. Of all restaurants I know I like it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to visit this restaurant. Whenever I feel like having a decent supper, this place comes straight to my mind. very good and many types of food and a rich menu.generous staff members, and great vibes. Also, the tariff is fair. I suggest this place with no doubt.

Don't let the name throw you, like it did me. This is the place that got me back into eating Chinese food again. They make great food. When we used to dine in, we would see mostly asian families (I am assuming they were Chinese of course). Before we gave up eating Chinese food around here, we tried several of the other (not so great) Chinese places and none even came close.I am NYC born. China Town is my standard for Americanized Chinese food. What it can lack in authenticity it makes up for in freshness at least. Why waste time and calories eating cheap ingredient strip mall slop? At least make it fresh and not drowned in old oil!Fortune Cookies on the other hand is super fresh and cooks with authentic ingredients like pea shoots, lotus roots and even pig ears. let me put it this way; their menu has a separate section for "American Style Chinese Cuisine." Here's another hint: their menu has more Chinese writing in it than English. That's not just for show. We were the only white people in the place. Why in the world they named it that I will never understand. I assumed they only served the most run of the mill Americanized Chinese food based on their name alone. I mean fortune cookies themselves are basically American. I have never been so happy to be so wrong!try them and you will probably only go there from now on.

Excellent Hunan style Chinese food. This is not a typical Americanized Chinese restaurant (they do, however offer some American style fare, though). Service is always great. If you like it spicy, this is the place to go!

Very tasty food especially if you like spicy Chinese fare. Had fish in chilli oil, human chicken, both were fantastic.

One of the few authentic chinese restaurants in the area, dont expect the typical takeout you may be used to.

We were so happy when we found out about this restaurant in the neighborhood. They specialize in Hunan cuisine and this restaurant is now added onto our list of different types of Chinese cuisine to order from in the neighborhood. We ordered from their website for delivery and also for pick-up once and both times, the orders were correct and ready on time.

We used to go here a lot before we had kids. Tonight we gave it another try after a long hiatus. I think this place has gone downhill in a major way. We had a very disappointing takeout experience tonight. 1. We ordered using their website. One thing we ordered was #137 which in English was written "Salted Egg w Shredded Potato". But instead we discovered when we got home that it was salted egg and garlic with steamed eggplants, not at all what we were expecting, and (quite frankly) not very yummy at all. Only afterwards did I realize that the Chinese indeed said steamed eggplant (I am ABC and can read a little Chinese with effort). This is a major mistake in the menu that must be corrected!!!! 2. We ordered the hot and spicy pig ears appetizer (#1), but instead of crunchy, the pig ears were soggy and mushy. Gross!! 3. We ordered the wood ear in special vinegar sauce (#4) but some ingredient smelled and tasted very off (the garlic? the vinegar?) and we had to throw out the entire dish. There goes $7.95 down the drain! 4. We ordered the steamed spare rib with taro (#44) and it looked and tasted disgusting. The color was unappetizing (the meat and taro were both pale gray), the meat was chewy and not at all tender, and the dish was way too oily. Needless to say, I doubt I'll be going back here any time soon. It's so sad when a restaurant that used to be amazing declines so much.

Great food! Maybe a misunderstanding on the order but the man was quick and polite to correct. Definitely order again!
