Fortune Cookies is tucked away, far from the hustle and bustle of the nearby mall. Don’t let the exterior fool you—this restaurant serves authentic Chinese food. Very good food and service! Will definitely return!
Fortune Cookies offers a wide selection of authentic Chinese food, conveniently located near Duke Island Park. Known for its consistent quality and taste, the restaurant impresses with dishes like fish filet in hot chili oil. Customers praise the fresh bean curds, whole fish in bean sauce, and well-flavored string beans, which many consider a go-to dish. The food is authentic, with boiled peanuts and tea served right away, emphasizing its genuine Chinese roots. Reasonable portions leave diners feeling satisfied. The restaurant has been open for 15 years, thanks to its good food and customer service, and it allows small service dogs to dine with guests. While it may not serve General “Sows,” it specializes in Hunan cuisine straight out of Changsha, making it a favorite for those seeking authentic flavors away from the busy malls.
