Average pizza but didn’t live up to my expectations for NJ. I am traveling for work and got a pizza through Uber eats. It showed up on time but the pizza and topics were basic. The crust lacked flavor and the consistency I expect for NJ pizza. I had no desire to eat the crust at all. The rest of the toppings and sauce also just lacked seasoning and flavor. It was just ok at best. I wasn’t compelled to eat more. My pizza place in Raleigh NC much better.
They are usually on point with the service they provide and the pizza they make. I called and ordered a well done plain pie ahead of time for pick up.. when I arrived, it quickly became apparent that they forgot about me.. meanwhile, they have an entire fresh pie that just came out of the oven, and instead of offering me the pie, they cut it up for two slices for a different customer and made me wait 20+ minutes to make what they forgot! We are new to the area and the gentleman at the counter couldn’t have been more kind. He told me about some of their specials and packed up paper plates, cups and napkins for us. The food was piping hot too.
