I love the food at aversa's but I have to say there's a problem with them charging a service fee to use a debit card which is not legal and they refuse to do anything about it, so I have a very negative comment, so I'm warning you to bring cash.
Place is always mobbed. Ordering can be chaotic. Hopefully your staff person is having a good day and is well-caffeinated. But the baked goods are great. We usually get stuff for Saturday mornings.
The breads are good, the cakes are not. I've gotten Italian loaves which always taste good and fresh. However, each time I've gotten cake slices, they aren't good. They don't taste fresh and don't have much flavor other than being overly sweet.
