“Moved to NJ & been looking for my go-to deli sandwich spot- FOUND IT! Fellow Sandwich Fiends: This place is perfect. The amount of turkey on this sandwich and the care with which it was prepared reminded me of those I'd get back in the day, sliced thin and stacked high.Great sub roll, substantial but not hard and overly chewy, delicious meat & cheese, thinly sliced onion, nice green lettuce, and fresh tomato. Idk about you but it's not often I get a delicious, flavorful, ripe, red tomato in a sandwich these days, I was thinking about this while enjoying it.They also had a good assortment of drinks and chips, and pickles for those who partake. “Winchester Deli Grocery was very convenient for me when working on a house down the street. I got a turkey sandwich that tasted phenomenal. Inside the store it is very clean. It is little tight but he has everything you need and I am sure that it is convenient for the people that live near it. The owner is very nice and I am happy that I was able to support a family run business while being in the area.“
“This is a popular location that I wanted to try. I went for dinner and got a Hot Reuben sandwich that cost $10.99. The order was made quickly while I waited in the store. It was a bit busy as it was close to closing time and had a stream of people stopping in to pick up orders. So, you may want to order ahead because parking on Atlantic Ave can take up time and you have to pay for parking. The sandwich was great, well put together, fresh and tasty. My ONLY ding was the price of $10.99, but then again, it’s Atlantic City. I will definitely return to this location for something else on the menu. “They have plenty of options. But their “Chicken over rice” , “Lamb over rice” and “Gyro chicken” are the best in locality. I bet, none can beat them in these. They give you a good amount of meat and a good amount of rice as well. They are open 24x7 . You can go at midnight or in day time it doesn’t matter. You will find the “always best” taste in their restaurant.“
“Great sandwiches, unbelievable meats and really delicious soft drinks that no one else serves. Service is terrific, with a healthy sandwich made a a smiling happy staff. It is a sub shop, butcher shop, does catering - feels like a place you want to eat at. No tables inside but some outside. Ambiance is cool and inviting. I like the buffet also, really great idea.“
