La Mezcalita (Mexican Restaurant)

Wanted to try it out after driving past it a few hundred times!!! The staff were very friendly, the place itself was decorated beautifully. The drinks were big, strong, and tasted great! The food was absolutely phenomenal. I was stuffed leaving there, my only regret was i couldn't finish my meal!!!! Definitely recommend and will be going back again and again. A+++

I cannot say enough good things about la mezcalita. The food, drinks, and desert were a hit! I highly recommend the Monterey fajitas they were the best I ever had ! You will not be disappointed just come here to have great food and a better time.

My son and I had a fabulous lunch today, but warning to everyone the mole was super spicy! That meant super good, but if you're not prepared to sweat then order the fajitas!

On a Saturday night, this place is THE local spot to come and enjoy music, friendship, and fun! A buddy said this place was full of cougars, but I didnt see any so I doubt that warning is needed; and there's not much chance of getting mauled. (Maybe they can get a game warden to swing by... for safety... who can say?)

So I ordered chimichanga with chicken. cery very bland and dry it is served with nothing drizzled on it the rice did not taste authentic. i make better spanish rice. the beans are mush. no flavor at all

i never got asked if i needed anything i had to track them down. they need to assign a person to you because they all must think someone else is helping you when in fact no one is.

when a girl came past i asked for dessert menu and she left it and never came back i waited ten minutes and then just paid and left

its a no for me and its a shame because im only a few mikes from there

We had a great experience at this Mexican restaurant. For appetizers, we ordered the Tostones Kabob, and for mains my wife chose the Mexico City Tacos while I had the Tacos de Birria. Everything was very tasty, and the portions were generous.

The waiter was friendly and gave helpful suggestions with our order. I also want to highlight the atmosphere—it felt very welcoming. The tables were clean (not sticky, which I really appreciate), and they even brought us free nachos with salsa while we waited for our food.

Overall, great food, big portions, friendly service, and a nice atmosphere. Definitely a place worth coming back to!

I live in Budd Lake but have never gone to this establishment. I saw the 4.6 star Google review & thought I'd give it a try. I went there for lunch. The restaurant was very clean & inviting. All the staff greeted me warmly. My waiter was very polite & professional. I ordered the guacamole, ceveche & lemonade. I'm very picky about all of these items & I wasn't disappointed. All were fresh & delicious. The portions were great. There was enough to take home for dinner. I took home the flan but haven't tried it out yet. I'll definitely go back for dinner. If you're a Mexican food fan & you live in the area, you gotta try out this restaurant.
