Stay away from here $20 for a burger and fries and it wasn't fresh meat and it's always great having a bottle of balsamic over chicken and greens sew appetizing actually the food was disgusting here the price is way too much but our waitress was excellent

You will get a big meal for the money here. I came here 4 times and my party ordered different omelets each time here. Good service. Food gets points for the big portions but its normal diner food. Points taken away because of the view. Its literally next to a cemetery.

Service was excellent and fast! Atmosphere is slightly better than a typical diner. Food was a little pricey but the portions were huge so we got two meals from the deal. Chicken was seasoned well, the thick pieces were juicy and the salad and vegetables were great quality.

Service was great. The Greek wrap with chicken was delicious and too big to finish! The French fries were the best I ever had anywhere. Penny came over to say hi and was very delightful. I am from egg Harbor Township and was visiting in Caldwell and I will definitely stop there again.

My wife, daughter and I were visiting colleges, and next up was Caldwell University. We had some time to stop for lunch and tried the diner. Free parking was available in the back. We were greeted by several employees as we came in and were seated. Service was prompt, and drink refills came without asking. Food was excellent. My burger was a nice size and my side order of seasoned curly fries was bigger than expected. I ended up taking them home for a snack. My wife and daughter also enjoyed their food. Would gladly return. Maybe my kid ends up at Caldwell and this becomes one of her local hangouts ??♂️

I love this place the food is always good, service is great, and fast. The owner is SO sweet I shared it was my birthday and she gave me a piece of cheesecake on the house. It was soooo delicious too. One of the best I had ! :)

There is something special about Caldwell diner!You can tell you are eating real, fresh food, which also happens to be delicious! Nothing is ever over flavored or too salty. The service is solid and the prices are fair.
