I ordered for dinner Cavatelli with broccoli from Forte in Caldwell NJ. They delivered dinner box all with broccoli and small bottom layer of cavatelli pasta. Taste was also not very good. I probably will not be ordering again from this place.

Again they got my order wrong and the manager Keith said ā if your order is always wrong then to not order from us again ā. Good to know.
Iāve ordered a few times and every time they get something wrong or they missing items. . This time just doesnāt make sense, I ordered a salad with the dressing on the side and they give it to me in a dipping sauce cup. I put all the sauce in and itās dry. How can you be ok with that kind of experience for your customers? Save the disappointment and order somewhere else.

Not real Italian food. Got mozzarella and peppers for appetizer, tasted like nothing not fresh mozzarella it's store bought. Rigatoni with shrimp wasn't bad but they won't let you order pizza when you sit down to eat which is dumb. Overall not great.

Good pizza, clean restaurant, wish the diet soda worked but you can't have everything.
We've been here numerous times and it has has not improved in the many years we've visited. The dining area was very noisy, with 2 separate large parties of 10+ guests each. The food was so, so. Presentation was extremely poor as if shoved on the plates. Staff stood around and were disinterested. Serving cold bread with cold chunky and tasteless marinara shows lack of culinary expertise for the price level.

Forte is consistently amazing. The quality of the food is tops and they offer very authentic dishes that a lot of other Italian restaurants in the area simply do not. If you are a real Italian you may want to try their tripe which is better than just about anyone else's. Forte makes it with cherry peppers so it has a bit of a zing. Honestly just amazing. And their pizza is easily among the best in the area. In terms of price, they certainly are not inexpensive. But in this case you get what you pay for.
