Delicious Italian dishes in a beautiful setting. We went on a Tuesday which happened to be pasta night, with pasta flights for $25 and all pasta dishes half price. What a deal! Calamari appetizer was perfect too. A new favorite!
Calandras has been a staple in my family since before I was born. My grandparents lived in Newark and would go to the bakery for the bread and my papa would always bring home cupcakes for us. I discovered they opened restaurants and other locations a few years ago, after I had left NJ and then came back many years later. It is by far, the best restaurant ever. It's always a wonderful experience coming here. The restaurant is absolutely stunning with soaring ceilings. You're transported to another place in time when you dine here. It's an Italian restaurant so expect all of the classic Italian dishes and some fun additions. The food was amazing and the service was outstanding. It never disappoints.
