The pizza is great too, And I’m a classic Jersey pizza snob and it passes my tests well enough. Always friendly service, and when I call for delivery it’s here faster than the timeline they give.

“Visited this spot recently and was really impressed by the food – every dish was flavorful, well-prepared, and clearly made with care. The atmosphere is fantastic too: welcoming, stylish, and perfect for a night out with friends or a date night.

Unfortunately, the experience at the bar fell way short of the rest of the restaurant’s standards. The bartender (older white woman, working the Sunday lunch shift) seemed completely disengaged – no interest in recommendations or craft, and the $15 “custom” cocktails felt like an afterthought. Cheap ingredients and absolutely no effort in presentation or taste. For a place with such high-quality food, it was disappointing to watch someone lazily throw together drinks that tasted like they came from a bargain bin mixer.

If the bar matched the effort coming out of the kitchen, this place would be an easy five stars. Until then, come for dinner – just skip the cocktails.“

I chose chicken parmigiana, first off as a joke I asked the server if this was for the entire table, a huge portion! Two large chicken breasts atop a good size serving of linguine. The red sauce was excellent. I can’t wait to go back.“

My mother who is allergic to shellfish ordered the steamed Chilean sea bass and she raved about it. The staff and host are some of the nicest people you’d ever meet. Great restaurant all around.“

From the outside it's not much to look at but from the inside, it truly feels like the best of fine dining - with Thai food! Is it truly authentic Thai food? It's as close as I believe I will ever get in Northern New Jersey and that's something to consider. I am sure if I asked for the real thing, they can easily deliver! Food was delivered to the table very quickly during a late Saturday afternoon lunch and they still had nearly half the tables filled. I can only imagine dinner time! “Most people see diners and get melancholy for the same bland and boring food, but that is where I will challenge you. Today, I was served the most flavorful dishes from any diner I have been to in my life. I will admit it was a very pleasant surprise and a very wholesome experience. The portion sizes were nice, they didnt overload the plates to make up for poor flavor, nor was it so exquisite that you had a simple morsel. All in all, the food was very well done showing both love of the food and the love of serving. As for the atmosphere, nothing too complex but nothing too simple, it showed a small piece of history from Clinton allowing for immersion and a peaceful environment. The waitress we had was very kind and knowledgeable about the menu as well as quick and precise with our requests!
All in all this restaurant has been put on my "visit again very soon" list. Such a pleasant experience and I'm excited for my next meal here.“

“Wow! Used Stella G’s as my wedding caterer, and was absolutely blown away. The food was AMAZING. We were nervous about how the food would be but my husband and I were shocked by how delicious it was and the guests kept complimenting it was as well. The restaurant is family run and the owners did everything to make sure it was a hit. From initial emails, phone calls, questions, and menu selection they went above and beyond. I can’t stress enough how each bite of food we had was better than the last. They out did themselves on taste, presentation, professionalism, and courtesy. “We came to Lil Tokyo as our first Sushi experience in New Jersey. It was in such a nice venue, the environment was clean and had such a pleasing atmosphere to it.

We were the only patrons in as a huge thunderstorm just came out of nowhere but they were still happy to serve us and allow us to bunker down if the storm got worse.

? Samurai Roll - Absolutely delicious and my favorite, the mango was fresh and the roll by far i will be getting in the future

? Kiss Roll - Shrimp tempura and crab meat eith spicy salmon, and it had such a pleasant spice to it and the ingredients were fresh.

Little ? Tokyo - I'm not usually a fan of soy paper wrapped rolls but this one was quite pleasant and the asparagus was cooked right to allow a satisfying crunch and taste.

Overall everything was fresh and priced very well for the quality we received.
Definitely recommend this spot for a quick sushi bite or even to-go.“
