I went here after watching the Goldbergs TV Sitcom. They are right, after a lifetime on the PA side and getting cheese steak all over Philly the absolute best Cheese Steak anywhere is at Donkeys Place Camden.

A unique, delicious cheesesteak. Lean, tender steak, more sliced than chopped. Seasoned perfectly. The round poppyseed roll really makes a difference. Just different from any other steak I've had. Wings are what we call 'hard fried' and good but not exceptional, though they are big and meaty. Fries were good. The fried stuff was all fried in relatively fresh oil, which you probably know is not always the case. Atmosphere wise, it's about what you'd expect...

It was REALLY good. I would not drive an hour for it, but if I'm in the area then I definitely will be returning. Employees are nice and welcoming. Place has a sports bar vibe.
