Recently stop by this establishment On my way home to pick up some food for my family, the space to place an order is vary small and can get crowded quickly. The server taking my order was very friendly, the only thing when I ask for a half of pound of roasted pork I noticed she didn’t weigh it. The Pastelillos were vary greasy and salty same with the Alcapurrias, the roast pork was skimpy and bland. Not to mention the panhandler outside that gives the establishment a bad presentation, not a very good experience for a first time customer.

They were pretty busy. I stood in line for about 20 minutes. I was doing takeout. The restaurant looked OK nothing special. The person who waited on me appeared to be a little sick or maybe it was allergies. Not sure she was sneezing. She gave me 3 extra fried plantains.
Customer service SUCKS here! I know English may be the second language, how the facial expressions are a KILLER here! You can tell they’re unhappy about something because it shows! I only keep coming because the food is actually GREAT, however I’m not sure I’m not sure I’ll still be their customer because I’m big on customer service and I’m always friendly even when I don’t want to be especially AT WORK. Big selection of food, drinks, and dessert. Always someone out front begging, but hey welcome to the City lol that’s everywhere.
Edit: wasn’t pleased with my food tonight, yellow rice was very mushy and my chicken was cold and not fully done

Love this place. Love it . I love it . I love it. My black ass feel like a puerto rican whenever i eat there food. I rather eat there because the food is on par with any high quality 4 -5 star restaurant in the 100 mile radius and i guarantee you no matter who you are, and what you plate is , you will find something in this store that you will LOVE. If the people from 600lbs life find out about this restaurant im telling you they wouldnt want to leave , the food is that good. Im not getting paid for this, i dont know anyone affiliated with this restaurant and i am a world traveler who has been to many many many places to eat, and this place is somewhere to go when you just want to enjoy something reliable and good.
