I placed an order online, received a confirmation email immediately after placing the order, but when I went to go and pick it up, the establishment is not there. I walked next door to an open convenience store and they told me that Steven's has been gone for months and they don't know where they went. I did call the number on my confirmation email, and I had to leave a message because no one picked up. I just want to get my $63 back.

This place was beyond terrible. I came in on a Sunday at 6pm from a long nap to get something to eat with my fiancé. We waited for 2 and a half hours with a smile because it seemed busy and I heard the food was worth it. Plus we paid 50$ for our two platters. Once we got home with our food we realized they messed our order up!! Yes after all that time it was messed up. We went back and got it corrected . Okay. Fine . My fiancé barely touched his platter because the noodles were not fully cooked … we threw the food in the trash . Besides my fried fish. The next day my fiancé woke up for work and was pooping and throwing up uncontrollably, he even started throwing up blood ! We went to the hospital and he has FOOD POISONING. Long story short when I called them to try to atleast let them know something is wrong in their kitchen and to get the money back we spent on our food … they literally ignored me after explaining the situation. I already called the board of health. Good luck to anyone eating at stevens soul food out north

The food is good very tasty I didn’t like the collards greens extremely spicy, the service sucks I ordered on Uber eats and they didn’t have an item which was okay with me but they took over 2 hrs to get my order done my driver was waiting there forever and I couldn’t eat my food at work during my lunch.

I ordered through doordash & my order was incomplete. They rushed me when I was trying to get it corrected… I guess I’ll be refunded back to my card. I’ll know in about 7 business days I guess…They were out of crab balls & this is the partial reason for the mix up I guess…This is my 2nd & last time ordering because there was a mix up before like 6 months ago….UPDATE: It’s been 2 weeks & I STILL HAVE NOT received my refund… THIS SADSTABLISHMENT WILL NEVER GET ANOTHER PENNY FROM ME NOR A RECOMMENDATION! It’s the principle of doing bad business…. Too bad I can’t give them negative 5 stars!!
