I purchased 6 of the 1 lb frozen peruvian scallops and threw out 5 lbs. I should have known by the price it was junk! These scallops, upon defrosting, had a blue and white opaque tint in the water. When I cooked these scallops, tons of fluid still came out of them and ruined 2lbs of Colossal Shrimp with a pound of haddock. Completely changed the flavor of my seafood casserole that I have been making for the past 40 years! The scallops were awful tasting as well. I have been using frozen scallops for years and never encountered this problem. I will continue using Waterfront Bistro Jumbo size Scallops over these Atlantic Capes Fisheries Scallops every day of the week! Not impressed with the quality of the product!!!
