Pathetic excuse for "avocado toast". A couple soggy pieces of wheat bread with barely a green smear (is this real avocado?) and some questionable tomatoes that have lots of white/green underripe interior. Yuck. I'm sad I wasted a vacation breakfast on this garbage.

Staff is exceedingly friendly and speedy during the morning rush. The coffee was made for even before I could pay for my bill! The coffee cake was also especially delicious. There is no indoor seating and only a few outdoor tables. It seems to be a more grand and go space so there were seats available outside. They do not have public/guest accessible wifi.

The hand squeezed orange juice is the BEST that I have ever had! The pork roll, egg, and cheese is a winner as well, but I did not enjoy the kaiser roll from this shop. It may have just been an older bun, but everything else was fantastic about the breakfast sandwich.

I thought $10 for a bacon egg and cheese sandwich was too much.. but these people make it with love. It’s the best in Cape May IMO.

Bae was laughing at me cuz of the way I eat my bagels. I just love the fluffy part with the cream cheese. I scrape off the toasted parts. Service was quick and friendly. And the bagel was really good. Just my type. I could’ve gone for a second one but I’m trying to watch my figure since we went to the beach right after. Great spot to get a snacky snack before hitting the streets. Not pictured but bae got an iced coffee and I had some OJ.

Friendly welcoming smiling staff at 7am The regular Avalon blend Coffee was mild, delicious fresh and hot. Multiple coffees to try along with Crumb cake and beach buns...They are scrumptious and their bagels are huge! They offer an assortment of bagels and breakfast bagels and cream cheeses. We highly recommend Avalon coffee shop when you’re in Cape May!

My wife and I loved having breakfast at this family owned business. There is a friendly vibe that makes you feel welcome, and that you are appreciated. The staff is kind, and genuinely interested in pleasing the customers. I loved how they interacted with the locals and their regulars, like they were all part of their extended family. But most importantly, the bagel and egg sandwich was the best I’ve ever had- anywhere. Real, fresh eggs, cheese, and bagel. Nothing frozen or processed. I wish that I didn’t live so far away, because I would be there every morning.

I stopped in for a coffee and a breakfast sandwich today. Drip coffee tasted fresh and was nice and hot. The staff were very friendly and we shared a few laughs. The sandwich (porkroll, egg, cheese on Kaiser) was fantastic. It was the perfect balance of P, E, and C. The porkroll was well cooked and tasted like it should (some places it just tastes like the flattop it was cooked on). I'll definitely go back next time we're in the area.
