A true find in Cape May. We wished we could stick Backstreet in our back pocket and take it home to Philly. The service was friendly in the way that makes you feel like you're a regular, instantly. The food was even better. Lamb Chops were perfectly done while the pan fried fish was delicious in a lemon and caper pan sauce, made the right way, and right out of the pan. Even the dessert of blueberry cobbler made me look around to be sure I wasn't home in the house...
Really enjoyable. Great food; really friendly professional servers. I think that the atmosphere is just fine; it's a small restaurant and a nice break from the bigger places. We'll be back in August.
We love Backstreet! During summer vacations in Cape May - for past decade- wife and I have at least two dinners per week. Hoping “ temporary closed “ is due to seasonality. You are the best!
