Really good food right across from the beach, with great service and atmosphere. Walked in, got a table right away and had some good margaritas. Sliders and bacon wrapped scallops were great.

Barefoot had stellar food, quick service, and good atmosphere. Went for lunch at noon on a Thursday and had no wait to sit at the bar. The bartenders were nice and attentive; Surfside was $8 and the Cape May IPA was $9. The shrimp po boy was probably one of my favorite meals I had while in Cape May. The seasoning on the blackened shrimp was flavorful and a little spicy, and the sauce, pickles and bread were delicious together. My partner had the chicken bruschetta which was also yummy - just surprised it wasn't in sandwich form. They had relaxing music playing and it wasn't too crowded. I'll be eating here again!

Staff seems put out offering service. Definitely had better service at other establishments. We waited like 40 minutes to order our food. Service was extremely slow.

Do I mention the frozen drinks? A+++ little on pricey side but worth it. . saw another table with bruschetta chicken looked so good. That's next stop. I will be back

I had such a fantastic time at Barefoot Bar & Restaurant in Cape May! The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, with a perfect beachy vibe that made me feel like I was on vacation, even if just for the evening.
But the true highlight of the night was Stefanie—she was absolutely amazing! Attentive, friendly, and just a joy to be around. Her service was top-notch, and she went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. You can tell she really cares about her guests.
The food and drinks were delicious, the staff was warm and upbeat, and I genuinely can’t wait to come back. Thanks again, Stefanie—you made my visit unforgettable!

Unexpectedly yummy menu for a hotel pool bar. Picked because had to take a beach break and didn't want the same food delivered plus they had a kids menu, which is required! Very little shade at lunchtime, wear a hat! Had Maine Lunch on tap which was a happy surprise. I don't get pulled pork much but it said it was a 2025 champ so I took a chance - it was delicious! No fat, perfect chunks, great brioche bun, asked for some BBQ sauce on side.

50 minutes to get watery inedible oatmeal followed 20 minutes later by a replacement meal including the wrong toast which they charged separately for and refused to take off the bill.

Stumbled upon while walking along beachfront in Cape May. Had live music when we were there, happy hour during the week. Chips and guac and salsa were solid as was the beer selection/drinks
