A hidden gem!!!! Everything is made fresh and ingredients are basically farm to table from Beach Plum Farms. The bakery has some of the best pastries you’ll ever have. No joke. You have to try the pumpkin chocolate chip bread when it’s in season or literally ANY baked good. I have never been disappointed. The coffee is delicious, rich and they even have a La Colombe draft latte!! On top of that, the employees and bakers are heartwarmingly generous. Can’t say enough good things about this place. This is my absolute favorite café.Dietary restrictions: They often have gluten free muffins or brownies!Wheelchair accessibility: There are tables outside in the summer to easily pull a wheelchair up to.

A must do on our trips to Cape May. The food is farm to table, and the farm grounds are gorgeous. In the summer, we walk the trail to the swings and pick berries. Year round, my family loves waving to the pigs (walk through the arch way near the gardens and follow the little path into the woods over a small bridge) and feeding the chickens in front. We will be back in the spring!!Parking: Parking outside in front of storeKid-friendliness: High chairs provided

We had a few days in Cape May for the holiday festivities and were looking for an early morning treat. We found Beach Plum Bakery via the internet and due to the reviews made a special visit. Wish the treats were worth a special trip. Alas, not so. The scones were dry and crumbly. Warming them up at home with butter helped but not much. Not a huge selection, so left disappointed. Special tip: We were telling a waitress at one of the restaurants about our disappointment and she recommended "Chez Michel". The craziest coincidence - I used to absolutely love the French bakery on the Wash. St. Mall and always wondered what happened to it. Well, Chez Michel is one and the same baker!! I am so excited to try his croissants next time I'm in good old Cape May!!

Excellent coffee drinks and pastry item which this time was a butter croissant. I got an almond biscotti and it tasted great as well. Service was phenomenal and very friendly baristas. My new favorite coffee shop in Cape May for sure!

If you are looking for a variety of delicious scones each day, this is the place to go. The selections change daily, with both sweet and savory to choose from. Flavors like bananas foster, pumpkin chai, banana toffee, gluten free apple strawberry, even three cheese. All delicious. This quaint little cafe is a Cape May staple when we visit. They have a variety of coffees, drinks and baked goods but I always go for the scones.

As many of you know, I review restaurants and go from city to city, reviewing gourmet and fine restaurants. I will tell you this, that the scone that I ate with the strawberry and they warmed it up !!!! It was literally the most delicious fruit filled moist scone I have ever eaten and would have to conclude that there isn’t a scone that incredibly good within 100 mile radius of Cape May, New Jersey. … The coffee was so fresh and I don’t even like dark roast the young girl Sara fixed my coffee with lavender, Vanilla, and cinnamon… Spot on Clean professional and in a very unique shopping area.. Your welcome !!!Parking: Tell the lady who bakes them that Jamie the reviewer guy sent you!!

Best cappuccinos and iced coffee in Cape May. The gluten free oatmeal raisin cookies are insanely good. I wish I bought a bunch to take home. Love how dependable this place is. When we are in Cape May, we stop here multiple times a day. Staff is delightful. Prices are similar to NYC prices.Dietary restrictions: Delicious, safe gluten free options
