The atmosphere and overall experience was great however the tacos were okay. We tried about 4 different types of tacos and they were all just okay. Definitely overpriced for what you get. And you can’t order a la carte? This is something this restaurant should definitely consider doing. I had Two chicken tacos and my husband had the trio, my son the nuggets and fries, one margarita, and two desserts. Total was $80. Not very reasonable.

Food was good, portions could be bigger. Biggest issue was the service—I 100% understand there’s a staffing shortage, but that was not the issue with our visit. There were only a handful of tables and a few servers. Ours was very inattentive, didn’t check in, and couldn’t be found. Had to go to the bar myself to ask for drink refill, food service seemed slow, which was okay but would have been nice to have a check-in or two, etc…just the basics were definitely missing from this visit.

First time in this taqueria and we loved it!! The Blood Orange margaritas were refreshing and and good. For dinner we had the coconut shrimp, crispy fish and the quesabirria tacos that were also very good and delicious. Our waitress was charming and help us decide which drinks and tacos to order. We would definitely go back to this restaurant.

The tacos are excellent. The drinks are even better. The blood orange margarita and frozen mango margarita were my favorite. The atmosphere is enjoyable. A little loud but but not too loud to converse with your table. The staff is friendly and efficient (thanks Ian). I will definitely be back!

Not a fan for so many reasons:1. The food was super overpriced and loaded with stuff - trying to be "too much" or unique, but not Mexican at all. No Mexican flavors despite "Mexican spices". After just arriving from Mexico a few months ago after years living there, I have never tasted any of the flavors that were at this restaurant.2. The roof was leaking and falling onto my back while we ate.3. The service was super slow that the hostess even had to come over and apologize. Then, the waiter apologized twice, but we had watched him talking and standing there well before helping us.4. I asked if there was fresh lemonade, which the waiter said yes. I get it and it was obviously minute maid. I mentioned to him my question and that he said yes, but it was minute maid. He acknowledged it was, apologized, and brought me something else...but still unsure why that happened?5. Bathroom was dirty.6. Who makes tacos with 1 tortilla? Not Mexican style for sure and not filling. 1 thin tortilla and left feeling hungry after.Don't recommend. Would never, ever go back.

The tortillas themselves are a little small but they are packed with ingredients. Authentic Mexican flavor and ingredients. Reminds me of the really good tacos you can get on the street in Mexico City. Churros were pretty good too.

Absolutely loved this place! I got the last special of chorizo bites. They were really good, laying in a bed of melted cheese with 2 pitas to dip. My main course was the 3 taco combo but it was the slightly more expensive of the 2 combos, that had what I think might be the best banh mi or taco ever! It was a banh mi taco and it was so delicious. I think if I get the chance to come back I'll definitely just get 3 of those as they stood out. I also had the shrimp and steak of some sort but can't remember exactly what the names were. They were good but not stand out good like the banh mi. I highly recommend trying that one out.

I was excited to try this since I love Mexican food. The soft drinks are very small but they do provide you with free refill. I got one americano taco that was $5.00 but very good. I also got the nachos which was good but over powered with sour cream which made the chips a little soggy. I also got the carne ensalda quesadillas which were honestly delicious!! The best thing to order there, however, I was a little disappointed that they only gave you three small quesadillas for the price. I also tried a Margarita which I didnt like too much. Overall, good food but a little pricey
Hands down my favorite bar in Cape May. I wish they'd bring back the Mail Tai, easily the best I've ever had!

Popped in for a beer, sat with the locals at the bar. We had the best time. Talked American football, recommendations for things to locally and across the States. A really friendly bunch and bargain beer during happy hour. Four pints for 12 dollars!
