Yesterday we went to Cape May Winery with a bachelorette party group. We had a great experience from booking, too ordering our wine and enjoying our time in the lower cellar room. Special shout out to the amazing table of guests next to us that included 3 married couples that each had been married for over 25 years. Great wine tasting- make reservations. Also a big tapas menu. Try the octopus and the flatbreads.

The tapas menu, including Kobe beef sliders and polenta fries with truffle aoli, is tremendous, and the chef is great. Visitors can spend a couple of hours chilling to live music and enjoying a bottle of the Lighthouse Red. The winery is not the largest, but it's perfectly scaled in its size, seating, food, and wines, with the Chardonnay and Syrah being particularly popular. It's a favorite winery in Cape May County.
