We went to carneys on Saturday night. It was very busy!! I understand that! Once we got a table we ordered drinks and food. Got our drinks quickly. After a long wait we still didn’t have our food!! People around got theirs. Found out the server never put in our food order. Ah HOUR ++. Never going there again. We weren’t even offered anything!! Really really BAD??

Went in for a beer and pizza around 8 Saturday night...beer and service at bar were fine, ordered a Margherita pizza...pizza crust was horrible, sauce was tasteless and mozzarella was sparse, no basil, nothing fresh on it in my opinion, ...for having a brick pizza you've got to do better...

Carney's is an oldie but goodie not to miss. Had been going there for years and stopped because it had gotten alittle on the run down side. We decided to give it another try during vacation in August. We walked in to find smiling,warm,welcoming friendly faces along with a totally remodeled bright and clean place. We sat at the bar for happy hour and had the pleasure of meeting Landon the bartender. He was outgoing and we really enjoyed ta.We had the early bird special ( we ordered prime rib,it was a good sized portion and delicious). We had a wonderful outgoing waitress and a really great meal.Its already on our list to visit when we are in Cape May during our yearly Christmas visit. You can't beat great service,good prices and terrific food !

CREEPY PLACE!!! i witness a 60 year old man slip some substance in other ladies drinks and i had to warn them from him and he asked one of them to go home with him and i asked the staff for help but they refused... BE AWARE!!!

They offer Happy Hour but the drinks are so watered down it’s ridiculous. Then when Happy Hour is over you are paying dramatically high prices for the same drinks with absolutely no alcohol. This is certainly not the same Carney’s from the ‘old days’ of Cape May.

We had a party of 6, and the booth was tight for that many. But the food was decent, and the vibe were awesome for Tues night karaoke!
This place is a tourist trap. The food was absolutely terrible and completely overpriced. I got the fish tacos and it was evident that the fish was bought right out of the frozen food section of the supermarket. There was no taste. The rest of the taco was bland and unremarkable. Avoid this place at all costs.

Fun place to stop for a weekend night out in cape may point. I’ve been going here for years whenever I’m in cape may during the summer. They usually have live music or competitions which are entertaining. It can be very loud but most places with live music are. It’s usually packed after 10PM so expect a wait when ordering drinks. The age groups can vary with the live music side usually being anywhere from early 20s to older crowds. The DJ side is usually more of a younger crowd. Typically it’s a very respectful environment.
