It’s a sad day in Cape May, when doors temporarily close on the first of the new year, although the fine crew are scurrying like elves, as they prep, paint, embellish and add new touches to our classic restaurant on Beach Ave.The menu will probably have delightful new item additions - as probably will the offerings at the bars.And…St. Patrick’s Day is when the doors open again!! Thanks to Sean, Michelle, our par excellence bartenders and waitstaff, the kitchen magicians, and my bouncer buddies, for your continued efforts!!Wheelchair accessibility: No steps. The Other room is perfect for accommodating wheel chairs.

The bar was very nice, it wasn't crowded at all. The bartenders were horrible. Took almost 10 minutes before we finally had to wave to get his attention. Very young, new I suppose so he has a lot to learn about service.

Took our granddaughters for dinner. My wife ordered a Margaritta pizza and I ordered with the server's encouraged chicken pot pie. My wife's pizza was bland and the crust like cardboard. They served it ti her 20 minutes before serving the rest of the table. The pot pie cost $30.00 and was mediocre to say the least. They used frozen mixed vegetables and I had to search for small bits of chicken. The dough was under cookedLast time we will ever eat at Carney's! Too many better restaurants in Cape May.To make it worse our bill was 130.00 and we do not drink alcohol

Love the happy hour discounted pizza and beer! ?? Parking available this time of year. ?? Washington Ave. is within walking distance. ?? The service was just ok this time around but to their credit they were distracted by a private affair and wedding! ???
We were denied entrance even with legal IDs. The bouncer closest to the mini golf course took one look at the front of my ID and said it was fake and called my friend shady. The bouncer sounded drunk. He showed the second bouncer my ID and then said how the front looked real but now the back suddenly seemed faded. The second bouncer then said we would have to wait for the police to sort out our IDs. However after me and my friends waited outside for a few minutes the second bouncer finally decided to return our Ids. He didn’t acknowledge their mistake, and still refused us entrance. This happened on 9/30/2023 I would love to be able to try this place out, hopefully next time they have better bouncers who know how to check IDs. This has never happened to me anywhere else.

This was a cool place to have a few drinks. The service was excellent and the place was very clean. We didn't eat here just had drinks watching football. I could definitely see us stopping back in the future. All tho we didn't eat I did want to leave a review to let the business know their staff is awesome.

Pleasant place.Good but pricey food.Trivia game on Monday evening with Bill from The Loop band is highly recommended.The attention to service was fabulous at first, after Maddie left for the evening, it was almost non-existent.Overall, we had a great time and recommend goin!
