Nice place to stop for a quick, good drink. Polite baristas, and they offer free drinks to Coast Guard recruits (Go Coast Guard!) Wasn’t too busy at the time either and they have seats to sit in while I enjoyed my free vanilla mocha.

Love from INDIA-207
The drink was ok. The cashier was rude and impatient. Need to have an option for credit cards. People stopped carrying cash long ago and not everyone has venmo.

If I wanted a cup of warm almond-flavored milk, I would have stayed home and poured it myself. I ordered a cappuccino with almond milk and what I got was basically a glass of milk pretending to be coffee. When I politely went back to have it fixed, the young girl behind the counter decided the “solution” was to dump in a random shot of espresso and then lecture me about how next time I should order an “extra shot” upfront. Sorry, but it’s not my job to explain to a coffee shop how to make an actual cappuccino—it’s literally their one job. If your staff needs the customer to order add-ons just to make a basic cappuccino taste like coffee, then maybe stick to selling warm milk and leave coffee to the professionals

Kind of disappointed. I’ve heard such great things about this place! I ordered an iced mocha, Iced vanilla chai, and hot chocolate.
It was all “meh”. The iced mocha had too much milk in it and was very watered down. The hot chocolate was…normal. Nothing exceptional but others seem to love it. It was very busy and the staff was working hard to get everyone’s orders out.
**Venmo or cash only**

Place did look cute, however for some reason the workers seemed very irritated and were not very friendly. The coffee was decent but overpriced.

Both sites are tiny, more so because of how popular they are

Hi! I was just here today with my boyfriend. Was really excited because the place had great reviews and coffee and food looked amazing (Im gluten free so the options were promising!) When we got there the person at the cash register was looking at me weird (I’m pakistani brown girl already kinda alienated in Cape May which is mostly caucasians) and we ordered our coffees which were really good. Then we got our sandwich (gluten free egg and cheese with Turkey sausage). We had a bite and liked it but then found two hairs before we even got a second bite in. I would’ve let it go and just thrown it out but felt upset that we paid for it and didn’t get what we wanted so thought we should at least tell the baristas. Each of them gave me a disgusted look when I told them (same as cashier did before to me) and one said “I guess I can make it again” not even saying sorry or in the least apologetic. Then another barista looked at me annoyed and said can I have the sandwich. I said we already took the hairs out. She said I can just throw it out. I felt so upset and looked down upon (paying customer, also tipped) that I just decided to tell them I didn’t want the sandwich anymore that it was ok. They again didn’t say sorry or offer any refund. I at least expected an apology. Honestly was really disappointed and looked forward to breakfast here. As we got out of the store I was very upset and felt looked down upon and mistreated. Ruined my morning and I’m here on vacation. People are really nice here but this encounter shocked me honestly. You shouldn’t, as an establishment, look down and treat people of color differently, especially when we were nothing but polite and courteous. I’m really still upset and shaken. No refund was offered either. If you’re a person of color, just beware before going here.

I got the decaf coffee with milk and the cinnamon syrup it wasn’t good at all. Please do not get the cinnamon syrup it will make it taste like a weird chai tea but not in a good way.
I had an amazing time here. The servers were great, especially my server Grace C. She was super kind and made me a great iced nutty monkey mocha.

Coffee Thyme was a fantastic experience thanks to Elijah, Gracie, Jill, and Ellie, who were all incredibly welcoming and attentive. They each helped me find the perfect drink and made the visit feel personal, relaxed, and enjoyable from start to finish.

Cute name and logo. This place was also Venmo or cash only which is an interesting choice. I got a flavored latte with coconut and vanilla and it didn’t taste like there was anything besides coffee and milk in there- two drinks were $20. There were no vegan pastries or vegan options on the menu so I don’t know where the previous review saw a vegan egg bagel but it wasn’t here.
Yeah.. avoid this place. I went here yesterday morning with family and not only was the service absolutely terrible, I mean the cashier was SO rude to us. NO smile whatsoever. I was unsure of what we even did to her other than come in when no customers were there. On top of that, our bill did not add up-- overcharged or the menu prices are inaccurate. AND on top of THAT, the sandwiches we got were absolutely pathetic and FLAT almost as if someone smashed them before putting them into the bag. How is a bagel flat? Unreal. I will not be back and will make sure to share this with friends, family, and to social media as well. Spend your hard-earned cash where it is worth it and is appreciated.
