When visiting Cape May this Christmas season, my fiancé and I went to Cold Spring Brewery to try it. We absolutely loved it! It is decorated for the holidays and cozy inside. We were thrilled to hear that our pup was allowed to be inside so we didn’t have to sit out in the cold with him. The staff were friendly and welcoming. They even gave our puppy a special treat. The beer was delicious. The tap room and bathrooms were clean. On Saturday, there was live music and it was so enjoyable. We loved our time at Cold Spring so much that we returned to the brewery on Sunday for the dog day afternoon special. It was so sweet. Unfortunately we observed a rude patron who complained about the dogs being present at the brewery (even though it is the designated dog day afternoon). If you don’t like to be around the pups, maybe Sunday afternoons aren’t for you. Everyone else at the brewery was kind and super friendly. Def recommend it here!

Place was really good, atmosphere is awesome. Really dog friendly, goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Provided really nice festive themed treats that were super cute.

Went here the last 2 days because of how dog friendly and kind they were. Beer was on point, environment was clean and welcoming. Anyone who gives a bad review did not go to the same place I did and is clearly mistaken.

Is this a brewery or a dog kennel? Kinda confused considering we just left with over 6 dogs all barking at each other continuously inside the brewery for my entire beer. What a headache and not an enjoyable time.

The location of the brewery is cool! The beers were okay. Not the kind I’m into drinking, but I enjoyed trying them! We went on a nice summer day so we sat outside. They have a nice outdoor area! It’s a cool place to visit!

Cold Spring Brewery in Lower Township, NJ is a hidden gem with a rustic, historic vibe. The restored barn setting adds charm, and the selection of craft beers is impressive, with something for every taste. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, making great recommendations. The outdoor seating is perfect for relaxing on a nice day, and the atmosphere feels laid-back and inviting. While the brewery doesn't serve food, there are often food trucks on-site, which is a nice touch. Overall, it's a fantastic spot to enjoy quality brews in a unique setting!

Wonderfully relaxed and friendly brewery. The beers and sarsaparilla were delicious. A enjoyable place to spend an hour or two.

Step into the past at historic Cold Spring Brewery. After a hot day exploring the historic village, stop in at the old timey ale house to relax, enjoy the atmosphere, and of course a cold one brewed on site.

Pros: Really great atmosphere. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices. Good variety (not just 10 IPAs and one porter). Dog friendly.

Cons: No food, but there is a food stand outside and a food truck that comes around.

Beer was good, bordering on great. If you're a microbrew snob you might notice some of the brews are a little on the amateur home brewer side, but overall really good. I really liked 3 of the 4 beers I got in my flight. Wife loved the "not your grandpa's sasparilla"

This is a really chill spot to stop at especially if you're a historian. Brewery is in a cabin built in 1806 nestled on the property within a historic village. Bartender was very attentive and friendly to us and our dog. We really appreciate that they are dog friendly inside and outside as we bring our well-behaved Labradoodle many places with us. I really want to give more stars, but we didn't like the beer. We tried 3 different beers and all tasted flat. :(

This place has alot of potential. Love the historic village, the brewery looks great. However... the beer there is never consistent, the music is good but they play is so freaken loud I can even order beer, and they serve the beer in plastic cups? Seems like alot of untouched potential, needs new management.
