Not impressed! Chicken sandwich was dry. Waiter took my beer before I was done. Overpriced.

The server was rude we asked for apps to come out before our dinner they came same time. She moaned when we ordered another round of drinks. Kept asking if we are done she said wanted to leave . This was at 845 they close at 10. Brought out the check and handed it to my wife again said do this now I want to get out of here.

The wait was long and when they brought corned beef it was horrible. The beef was like rubber and the cabbage was tasteless. Potatoes were ok. I didn't expect much from this place, but the food I got was even worse than expectations unfortunately.

My wife liked the steak salad but trust me, avoid the corned beef and cabbage like the plague. It looked and tasted like dried strips of baloney with undercooked potatoes. I couldn’t get more than a couple bites in before throwing in the towel. Very disappointing. The clam chowder was fine though.
I also agree with another reviewer, the Diet Coke tasted odd. It was like a mixture of diet, cherry and root beer.

Second time there, first horrible food greasy and cold wasn’t that busy. The pastrami was dry no taste. The fish and chip’s soggy and cold in the middle which tells me fish was frozen, which it’s not acceptable for an Irish pub and a sea town. I always give place’s second chances I will not go there again or recommend it.

An Irish pub should have great corned beef and cabbage. They failed completely. Bland and tasteless. Worst ever. Asked my Irish friend who also agreed. Vegetarian dish and a fish dish was fine for the other diners. Waiter did a fine job.
Pretty good pub fare with decent prices. Sometimes a little too crowded & loud for my liking, but most won't mind that.
They know how to make two of my fave casual meals: a Reuben and Fish & Chips, both of which in other places manage to be soggy rather than toasted or fried to crispy perfection.

Our favorite and most “consistent” spot for the past 8 years when “Down the Shore.” We enjoy the lobster dishes and scallops while sitting outside. Never that long of a wait no matter how busy. 🏁
(Tip: If you need a bit more room sitting outside kindly ask the waiter to remove an extra chair. When sitting near the inside bar ~ people at the bar occasionally have a tendency to not realize how close they are to the tables ~ kindly speak up)
