When we sat down I immediately ordered a coffee; it was served to me promptly and it was barely luke warm. I told our server if the coffee could be "heated up" at all. She lackadaisically told me they don't have a microwave on the premises. Kind of not the point, really. I hardly drank it and was charged $3.50 for it. The same server never came around and checked on us either. We had to keep calling out to them for attention. Not going back.

We had a nice big booth for the two of us. Our waitress was great. Area was a little dark. Salmon was good. My husband had braised short ribs which he lived. Saganaki for an appetizer.
The food was good but the portions are very large, literally everyone in the restaurant asked for a doggie bag. The appetizers should be listed as shared plates. I bought way too much thinking it would be a few bites, and my appetizer was bigger than my friend's entree, which he also couldn't finish. There are zero vegetarian options, this was very dissapointing. Best coffee in maybe the world, though.
Very disappointing after having enjoyed other George's Place locations. The waitress couldn't be bothered asking the chef about gluten free options. The fish was dry and tasteless.
Excellent food and service. Authentic Greek cuisine—the cheesy bread special was fabulous! If you order an appetizer and a meal, you will certainly need a doggie bag unless you play center for the Eagles! ?
We came in and there was probably 5-7 tables open. They put us on a “20 minute wait” and said they would call us when our table was ready. We waited in our car for an hour and they never called. We walked back inside to check with them and they seated us??? All the tables around us had ordered and were getting breakfast but we missed the cut off by 10 minutes because of their failure to seat us for over an hour with open tables. Don’t waste ur time, go a minute down the road to the court house diner where the service and workers are much better. 0/10 experience

We have been to George's for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food, service and atmosphere has always been great, the portions are more than enough. We bring family and will continue to come back.

Very enjoyable experience. Arrived on reserved time and promptly seated. Server came soon after. Very pleasant and attentive. Food (Greek picnic for four) was a perfect combination of taste, variety and portions. Excellent evening. Thank you George's Place!

The worst service I have experienced. Food was adequate, but the service was aloof and dismissive. Would not recommend.

All Kara restaurants are great, the web page may at times not be up to date which is frustrating. Bryne's listed open hours for breakfast and lunch but they were closed additionally not all of these places list a phone number, Dryness went to tbe harbor office, but overall, these are great places and especially great people!!
Another great dining experience with comforting ambiance as we booked a last moment reservation @ George's Place in the outdoor mall. Delicious tomato basil soup, saganaki app, Caesar salads, followed by delicious chicken entrees, tasty baclava and tasty coffee. Again, excellent service this time by Tanya, and soft touch engagement by the accommodating manager/owner, Jenny.... Fast becoming my favorite BYOB dining spot in Cape May.
Excellent service by Dan delivering delicious lentil soup, red pepper tomato soup, pikilia app that can be a full meal, excellent Greek and Caesar salads, wonderfully braised short rib, Greek fries that make the French jealous, and baclava dessert that is the capstone on a spectacular meal in elegant ambiance surroundings, authentic music that soothes, and a soft professional touch by owner Jenny. My wife and I agree this little BYOB is among, if not, our favorite dining spot(s).
We look forward to coming here every year. The breakfast is great, but we are huge fans of the havarti panini and hummus most of all.

Our waitress was very pleasant and knowledgeable. We shared a delicious spanakopita appetizer. The meal included a salad...the Greek salad was sizable and very good. We had the lamb chops that were fine but were cooked more well done than we requested. We didn't send them back. That being said, we'd eat there again.
