This place called and was confrontational on the phone because we missed our reservation, due to going to the restaurant early and it was closed, no mention of it on open table or the website. Plus, they want to charge our CC 20bucks. What a scam. Don’t go here, staff was very rude as well on the phone. Truly a shame.

Order take out multiple times a month. The food is great and the cash only is fine, but everytime I order takeout they never give you your change. They round up your bill and if you ask for your change, they give you an attitude. It happens every time with every hostess.

Our server was great. She was top notch. Hummus sampler was super tasty ,spanikopita top notch. The whole Branzino withe spinach was perfect. Crab cakes with sides was excellent. The Greek salads that can with the entrees were large and very good. Baklava hit the spot .

Lamb chops were delicious and so was the tuna, salad was good, but too much dressing for me. The limoncello cake was delicious. The service was excellent. the atmosphere was nice and quiet. It's a BYO, which we like.

We went to George's Place two days in a row & the food was outstanding. The french toast was the best I've had. It was just how I like it. I'm a tough food critic so everyone who knows me knows if I say it's delicious it really is. My husband & two children cleared their plates as well. Highly recommend 10/10

Great new find, seafood was excellent (bronzino, tuna, red snapper and salmon) chef fillet the fish. Cheezey appetizer was fantastic, the lamb shank was disappointing. Potatoes being irish they were great!! Lemonchello cake was delicious We will be back!!!

Originally tried going there for dinner and they had no openings. Had to use my GC by the 17th, (yes give cards have an expiration date). So, we we asked if we could use for breakfast and if we needed to make a reservation. They said we could use it and a reservation was not necessary for breakfast. So we went the next morning when they opened at 9 am only to be asked if we had a res. We told her what the other girl said and this girl said “she lied”. There were plenty of empty tables and were told to come back in a 1/2 hr. So we had to hang out in the rain waiting. Went back a few min early, same tables were still emoty!!!!! Had the French toast and it was only cooked on one side. Used to love this place but longer interested in going back!!!!!
From the time we entered George's, until we were fininshed, we were treated very amicably. The food was, as espected very good and well presented. The atmophere was comforting, leading to a relaxed dinner. We would recommed this to anyone.

We are visiting Cape May for the day and stopped here for a quick bite. We could have opted for breakfast but we all chose lunch. The salads are fresh, the sandwiches are hardy and their French fries are really good. Our waitress was very friendly and prompt. Don't miss this cute shop which has been in business since 1968.
