The indoor menu is very different than the outdoor menu so be aware of the differences. Actually, you should know what you are going to order before you get to the restaurant. We intentionally were looking for higher quality food and were not put off by the higher prices. The food was excellent and everyone in our five-person party was very pleased. We are looking forward to going back soon.

I requested a table with a view of the U.S. Coast Guard base—a special touch for our dad, a 25-year Navy veteran—and they honored it beautifully. As the sun dipped below the horizon, the Coast Guard cutters lit up against the intercoastal waterway, creating a breathtaking backdrop. That view sparked a story from our dad about his time staying on the base, one we never would have heard without that thoughtful seating choice. It was a moment of connection and nostalgia that made the evening deeply meaningful. The food was outstanding—every dish crafted with care and flavor that matched the elegance of the setting. The spicy tuna roll was the best we've ever had and the oysters were excellent as well. The crab stuffed flounder and the scallops were also excellent. And then the pumpkin cheesecake was amazing too!!! Our waitress Kendra was very professional also!!!

The bar and marina areas are very energetic and fun. That said, my expectations of a less noisy, "restaurant type" of area in the upper, closed in room, were not at all what I thought we would experience. The music was pulsating and on the loud side for a normal restaurant.

Everything about our dining experience was top notch with one exception. The bar on the second floor is part of the dining room. There were very loud patrons at the bar drinking and it was annoying. They then continued at their table in the dining room with raucous behavior.
Port has brought a new look, new menu & Staff to Cape May. The ambience is upscale beach vacation vibe. The food was very good but truthfully overpriced. Especially the pasta dishes. Our server was sweet, knowledgeable and great speaking with over the course of our evening. Overall I think it's a great addition to the area but may need to rethink the price point. I do understand profit margins and that you want to draw in a more refined crowd but $64 (possibly a bit higher) for penne with some lobster and 3 small scallops was a bit much. I'll return for a special occasion but it won't be on my regular rotation.

I recently proposed to my girlfriend at Port. Their event manager, Steph, was so helpful with assisting and helping plan everything for the night. Our waitress Tori did an amazing job serving our group of 12 people and making sure we had everything we wanted. Port was a great venue and I highly recommend it. Thank you to the entire Port staff!

Location and views stunning! We went early around 4:30 because we wanted to eat outside and knew it was first come, first served. First location under an umbrella was spectacular, had to move due to a gust of wind toppling the umbrella. Food and drinks were delicious especially the sea bass tacos! Service was decent until we were re-seated and our server forgot about us, never asked if we wanted dessert and we had to ask the manager for our check. Manager was apologetic but wasn’t a great end to the evening. Also the restrooms are shared with the marina and are really below board. For what it costs to eat and drink here, service and restrooms really should really be on par with the food and views.

Went for lunch here with my wife and really enjoyed it. The sushi is super fresh and tasty. The cocktails were also done well. There's a nice view of the water and you can fully be protected from the sun if you sit by the bar. For such a nice view it wasn't really overpriced like most places. I would definitely recommend it for lunch on a nice day. Get the sushi!
